Lets see…Chris Matthews opinions are heard by, what, 260,000 viewers on a good night? This guy and his show is the flagship of cable news failures…always in the basement of the ratings, he could be called the Fritzl of MSNBC. He wishes he could manipulate more viewers to watch him instead. As for Op Chaos, here in Indiana, as in North Carolina, PA, and many other states, entire families of Republicans have registered as “democrats for a day” in order to prolong the misery in the democrat primary. Then we’ll switch parties back the next day and vote with our party in the November election. It couldn’t be sweeter than to create mischief and mayhem for the libs.

There are enough Rush listeners who will follow whatever he suggests to make a difference in the primary. The other guy seems to underestimate the power of the media’s ability to manipulate voter action.

Rush isn’t the first to suggest this tactic . PA’s Governor ( and possible veep with Hillary ) is doing this for the second time .
I’ve saved the “register democrat” literature featuring Fast Eddie and Hillary on the cover and including the form required for change of party. My wife and I can’t be the only registered republicans to have received this.

Let’s get this straight, Chris. “Ditto” does NOT mean we agree with Rush. “Ditto” came from Rush wanting to get rid of EVERY call saying “Nice to talk to you, love the show, gee, I never thought I would get through” and so on. Rush didn’t want every call to begin with this flattery, so he suggested that folks just say “Ditto” and then get straight to the reason for their call.

As for “manipulable” – survey after survey finds Rush’s audience to be more well educated and more wide ranging in opinion than the Democrats. Find me a whit of difference between the opinions of Hillary, Obama, Kennedy, Shumer, etc.
