When the communist party lost sway it’s votes naturally went to the national socialists. This again is recorded history.

In reality, many of your comments, such as “conservatives in Germany hated Hitler,” are highly misleading generalizations. Some conservatives did hate Hitler, many loved him. Hitler was backed by conservative sectors such as the military, German industry, etc. Naturally, Hitler’s industrial, infrastructure, and military projects were a boon to the private sector.
You may have noticed that the Nazis and Communists were rivals, not allies; not only within Germany, but also outside of German politics. But Nazism was indeed a type of socialism — National Socialism, as opposed to International Socialism (Communism). This emphasis on nationalism and patriotism is what makes it right-wing. Left-wingers typically are not nationalists, but globalists.
I kind of assumed this stuff. Everyone is a Nazi if you don’t like them, so the best

Hitler knew he had no power without the armed forces; they knew it too. Perhaps you forgot that they backed Hitler politically when he promised them he would defy the Versailles treaty — which forbade a military buildup — and which he began defying secretly with a forbidden behind-the-scenes massive buildup almost from the moment he got into power. Also, when he promised that the SA (storm troops) would not supplant the German army.
The armed forces liked all this.
The reasons why some conservatives and army generals didn’t like Hitler were complex and not just political; mainly, there were issues of class and rank (Hitler was of humble origins and only a corporal in WW1, while most of the industrialists and military leaders were of the wealthy, aristocratic class).
What the Nazis and Communists had in common was an appeal to the working class; each party’s platorm featured plans to benefit laborers. This is the socialist element we both agree was present in the Nazi party.
