This guy pretty much typifies what being a christian in America is all about.
This story doesn’t give enough information, but I’ve heard that boys who are circumcised on the 8th day after birth have no pain due to the way the body is developing at that point. Although I believe in circumcision for spiritual as well as good health reasons, if this man is not a doctor (or in some cultures, a priest) and doesn’t know how to do it, he should’ve taken them to one instead of doing it himself.

Galatians 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
This man is not a Christian. He has created his own polygamous religion by mixing up some Mormonism, Judaism, and Christian beliefs. He is clearly not sane and is serving time for other crimes. Anyone pointing to this nut when discussing any of these religions is not being intellectually honest.
When done by a Jewish Mohel, circumcision is nearly painless and very, very, quick. Mohel’s have a better safety record than doctors and have been doing this for more than three thousand years. The 8th day is a good time as the baby has had time to create coagulants in his blood, and his nerves for this area are not fully developed.

Healthwise, circumcision is overall a much healthier approach than that of say Trent, the angry radical muslim approach of beating
wives and cutting people’s heads off.

Many years ago my grandfather told me he circumcised himself at the age of 28 in 1937. I asked him how he did it and he said, “A little bit at a time.”
It’s a short clip (no pun intended) so not enough info to grasp what his spiritual reasons were apart from “GOD told him…”
Perhaps this man didn’t have insurance, and learning of GOD’s directive in the Old Testament did “the next best thing.” There’s not enough info here to judge the man on, and frankly, it just isn’t any of my business.
In the Old Testament, GOD did specify circumcision be on the 8th day, and back in the late 1990’s or early part of this decade, I read an article about circumcision – sorry I can’t remember where I saw it.
The article stated that, at that time, Jewish women had the lowest rate of cervical cancer of women anywhere. So, I guess that’s something good to say in favor of “cleanliness” in respect to circumcision.

when you give birth to a son in a hospital and chose to have the circumcision done ..the doctor does not use a pain killer before hand…My son as a new born would scream every time he heard that doctors voice I finally had to change doctors. Was horrible and had I known no anesthesia was used I would not have allowed it
