Title of this is wrong. It’s not a “machine gun” those are regulated NFA. Calling it an “assault rifle” is more appropriate. Of course it’s not fully automatic.

Conservative? Want to help change things? Then get involved in the Republican Party and become a precinct committeeman! Blogging all day doesn’t change much. Being able to vote for the Party leadership does. Or providing endorsements to candidates does. I was called by John McCain’s campaign last night and asked to endorse him in the primary. Why? Because I’m a precinct committeeman in AZ. (Of course, I told him “No!” with lots of good reasons.)

The GOP is there for the taking by conservatives because, nationwide, half of the PC slots are vacant. It’s not hard to become a PC and it takes about an hour a month of effort. The Party is split 50-50 between moderates and conservatives and at half-strength. If the vacant slots were filled overnight by conservatives, the Party would be a conservative powerhouse, with a 75 per cent majority of conservatives over moderates. Want a more conservative Republican Party? THEN JOIN IT.

ColdWarrior – whil I appreciate your efforts to be a Committeeman in your area not all of us ONLY BLOG ALL DAY. Many of us have been EXTREMELY active locally and regionally. And even by your own post here you can see the value of engaging more people via “Blogging all day” that sitting in your local polling place and talking to Seniors from Sun City.

Please keep up the good work in your efforts to get the word out, but please be careful when assuming that we just “Blog all day”. I know of atleast 6 people on this site alone with very deep roots into the system with contacts with many Campaigns and efforts of Conservative Principaled Orgs.

It has been unlawful since 1934 for civilians to own Machine Guns without special permission from the U.S. Treasury Department.

Please get your news titles correct. An AK-47 is NOT a Machine Gun.

It is NOT illegal for private citizens to own machine guns, except those made after 1986, I believe the date is. Yes, you need a Federal License, but it’s not hard to get if you are a law abiding citizen. An actual AK-47 — as opposed to lookalike semi-autos — most certainly ARE fully automatic weapons. Many private citizens do own them, and no, they are virtually never used in crimes. For one thing, they are very expensive, and another……wait for it……criminals don’t bother to get licenses for THEIR machine guns. The very fact that you think they are illegal is evidence that these weapons are NOT a problem in responsible private hands. The weapon being fired in the video is clearly a fully automatic weapon. The weapon being given away is clearly NOT fully automatic both because of its low value, and because it’s being given away.

Of course when he said that, he was referring to America’s upcoming ‘football’ game against the Tehran Titan Missiles and their crazy quarterback Kook Nuke’em…though I personally think that’s a game that should be circled as a ‘must-win’ for US (and the rest of us).

But 0bama DID say “I’m not interested in victory”…so we KNOW he’s not referring to The Olympic Games ’cause everyone knows they’re a political event, not an athletic one. Which is why The0bamaCampaign continues! And 0bama’s upcoming schedule certainly IS light…let’s take a look:
1. Decide on an already-delayed troop request from YOUR OWN guy in Afghanistan? Nooo…
2. Fix the 0bamaDeathCare Bill? Nooo…
3. Help Middle East whirled piece? Nooo…
4. Lower the Zzzillion Dollar Debt? Nooo…
5. Pass the Cap-and-Tax-Hoax-of-a-Bill? Not yet…
6. Pass the Immigration-Amnesty-4-All Bill? Not yet…
7. Investigate that “A.C.ommunuity.O.rganizer.R.N.E.A.” thang? Certainly not…
8. Make a gameplan designed for ‘victory’ in America’s critical-mass-of-an-upcoming-playoff-game against TheNuclearIran? Hell nooo…
9. Do more sightseeing? Well, Copenhagen IS beautiful in the fall…let’s go!

A Republican member of the House of Representatives accused President Barack Obama of being “an enemy of humanity” during a conservative values forum this past weekend.

In a speech Saturday before the How to Take Back America conference, Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) made comments that went far beyond the limits of traditional White House criticism. At one point, Franks demanded that Obama release his birth certificate to prove his constitutionally eligibility to hold office. The bluntest charge, however, centered on the president’s position on abortion, which the congressman derided as “insane” and godless.
