What does Nader have to do with Lou Dobbs quitting the communist news network? That said, Ralph would be the very last person I’d select for leadership, but he really has done more for America than you’d think. In the role of a consumer advocate he was unparalleled. His cases have saved lives and took on odious corporate corruption. Anyone who’s ever been in an accident and saved by a seat belt at least owes a nod to this man. Prior to this, folks would just smash their heads on the dashboard and die in relatively low speed accidents.

I’ve met him; wouldn’t characterize him as bitter, nor a looser. He’s just so on the band wagon of corporation bashing that he looses perspective. As for the PC stuff, yup, he most certainly is, but then again, he is not the commander and chief, nor could he ever be. The fellow in office now–in my estimation–is the person who’s earned scorn recently.

As for CNN & Dobbs. They needed him, way more then he needed them.

Since CNN ratings rank worse than reruns of The Rockford Files on channel 1098 at 2:00 in the morning, I think it was probably a good move. Woe is Wolfie Blitzed, he is not getting any new invites from the game show circuit he was hoping to bust into, no appearances on Wheel of Fortune or the Price is Right…. poor Blitzed… and Anderson Cooping, well he is just another confused and frustrated gay man that cannot bring himself out of the closet. Shame. The sooner he can come to grips with it the better for him and his partners.
