I went to the funeral of a guy I knew named Tony. Tony was mob-connected, so sudden death doesn’t come as a surprise in that lifestyle. The guy that killed him was his best friend. He spoke at Tony’s funeral and was a pallbearer. He talked about finding the guy that did this, blah blah.
I got the same feeling watching this Obama Photo-Op.

Where are the 40,000 additional troops the military has requested? Maybe those guys wouldn’t be dead today.

For this man-child to stand there and render a salute to fallen soldiers, when he himself never served a day or never did a honest day’s work is beyond description. If he really cared, he would send the reinforcements requested by the military.

The ban on photographing the caskets of returning fallen service members was just lifted, so America is able to see more of the human cost of the wars. And it is up to the families to allow it or not. No photographs at all were allowed during the Bush administration so perhaps that’s the reason there are none of President Bush witnessing this scene. Wrong — the reason we don’t see Bush doing this is because he never went to Dover in the first place. Praise be to President Obama for his midnight run to honor the troops. The President met with all the families for several hours. The cameras were there because one family said they could record the return of their loved one.

It’s narcissism.

It’s all about The Won.
