Our hearts go out to these people that lost their lives and their families. This is something that did not happen.
So the question is, who is at fault? Was it the FBI, who knew about Hasan’s radical background; is it the military for allowing politically correctness take over their processes; is it the people, such as the doctors and co-workers that knew and did not press the matter because of the PC problem of the military and society. During the campaign, you repeatedly committed that you would end the “unjust” war in Iraq, and bring our soldiers home. Mr. President, Nidal Malik Hasan believed your words. Now, I know you cannot be responsible for every nut job that hears a campaign speach, but when you sell your soul and lie to you your base to collect votes, you have to realize those lies have a day of reckoning. That day of reckoning arrived in the most tragic way on the doorsteps of my family.”
“Mr. President, had you been a true patriot, and had your political party not accused our soldiers of being the true enemy, over and over, this killer would not have had any reason to believe that you were going to end a war that he detested.”
“Furthermore, Mr. President, you have done a tremendous disservice by not standing up and calling this what it is: A terrorist act. An act of a radical Muslim. You, your FBI, your administration, and the vast majority of the press are more concerned about what the Army did or did not do to the mental health of Major Hasan than you are concerned about what Major Hasan did to members of the military.”
“Sir, you had no problem jumping to conclusions about a white police officer “acting stupidly” in arresting a black professor in Cambridge, MA. You had no problem sending your Atty. General out to practically declare war on Christians after one nut job shot an abortion provider in Kansas. But you refuse to call this an act of radical Muslim Terror? Today, America honors the thirteen men and women who were taken from us five days ago at Fort Hood.
We will never forget them.
May God bless the fallen, the families left behind and those wounded. My daughter is currently serving with honor and dignity in Iraq. There were 7 killed the other day from her home base, Fort Lewis. There will be a service there today as well. Tomorrow is Veterans Day. I am getting out of the political rhetoric for the rest of today and tomorrow. This is a larger thing than our particular political stance. My daughter re-enlisted today. She stood as did those brave Americans killed by this traitor. For that the service star I wear every day is shining more brightly than ever. God Bless Them All. HOOAAH!!

I thought the unpresident was placing a Military Medal at the picture of each soldier killed but come to find out he put a maobama challenge coin there. What a sad statement. I feel the pain at both Forts Hood and Lewis.Today and tomorrow I am going to focus on remembering the sacrifices of all of our service members past and present and the family members that wait for them. Focus on the pride I feel for my girl’s courage and loyalty to this country. Then it’s back to the cause.

I don’t view Hasan’s act of Jihad as terrorism. He doesn’t seem yet to be connected in any way more than having had minimal contacts with extremists. He is an idiologically driven extremist for sure but I don’t think a terrorist. He is a lowlife traitor and a coward. Not crazy, not misunderstood, and I’m certainly not attempting to appologize for him or disagree that we must do away with this PC garbage. He commited an act of war against the US Army while a member of it after expressing anti American views that sided with the enemy. That is treason. I don’t see what he did as being successful in terrorizing many people. My girls says her brothers and sisters serving with her in Iraq aren’t afraid because of what he did. Obama’s Commemorative Speech at Fort Hood
President Barack Hussein Obama made a commemorative speech at Fort Hood regarding the shooting by Nidal Hasan.
First off, what is with the reverberation or echo when Obama was speaking? Was it on purpose, as with some of his other speeches to make him self sound god-like? Another soldier spoke after him and there were no reverberations.
He said it is hard to comprehend the twisted logic that lead to this tragedy. These are trying times for our country. I agree; these are trying times especially with him at the helm. Obama refuses to acknowledge that this was an act of terrorism on American soil by an extreme radical Muslim jihadist. Does he refuse to say this was an act of terrorism on American soil, because under George Bush there was not a major act of terrorism after 9/11? There was a plot at Fort Dix that was thwarted.
Or is it because he is an Islamic sympathizer? He said the Muslims would like him because of his name. Obama also said he has empathy for the 9/11 terrorists who crashed the planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the field in Pennsylvania killing thousands of American citizens. He said we, the American citizens should have empathy for them as well. This type of thinking is dangerous regarding America’s safety. Obama is an embarrassment, an appeaser and shows weakness to the world. 2012 can not get here soon enough!

I fail to see how the President, the chief executive of the nation’s laws, acted inappropriately upon hearing of the terrible news from Ft. Hood. He wanted to know the facts, which were difficult to ascertain in the confused aftermath of the incident.
I am not an “ultra lib”. In fact, I used to be a conservative Republican. But I became sickened by the ugliness and lies that so many conservatives embraced. The President is FOR your daughter, and he has moved to end our deeply misguided war in Iraq. He is also vigorously–perhaps too vigorously–attacking Taliban radicals in Pakistan and working to crush them in Afghanistan. I know we are at war. So does Barack Obama. His approach stands a much better chance of winning it than the people (like the commenter called Cult of Islam) who glibly speak of nuking Mecca.

I am talking about the appearance at the Native American event shortly after the murders occured where the President first hob nobbed with friends then mentioned the tragedy 3 or 4 mins into the speech. That is what has so many people including myself angry. It appears to indicate a deep level of narciccism and loss of touch with the pulse of the country. His reluctance to mention that the killer (alleged) is an extremist Muslim indicates a deep level of political correctness and unwillingness to offend anyone that is likely perceived as weakness by the enemy. The Army’s being influenced by the same thing will be taken advantagde of by those that would love to destroy us. They understand strength and only strength. We are fighting a deeply entrenched 7th century point of view armed with more modern technology. Bin Laden said it best when he said “the main difference between you and us is that you fear death and we love death”. We are enabling them by these PC

My sympathies the to fallen and the families. This event has shown how niave America really is. People ask why the fallen didn’t fight back by shooting the terrorist. This is what happens when your weapons are taken away. The bad guys know it. A word to the uninformed, don’t try this $hit in Arizona, we shoot back and you won’t know who has a loaded .45 in the glove compartment!
