Honestly guys pull this big ol’ stick out of your hole. This is simply an animated cartoon… Getting so riled up over a few harmless jokes is a major waste of time, and yes I do have a downs syndrome sibling, and to be honest with you he loved it. Laughed his A** off. Why not instead of posting hatred for a cartoon (Which a LOT of people adore) go and do something creative.

I actually like Family Guy, but when watching this episode I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I know McFarland is a lib with disdain for anything right of Ted Kennedy, but much of the show is still clever and funny. But making fun of downs syndrome? I don’t think even South Park would do that.

Come on people Its a TV show If you don’t like it change the channel and just don’t watch it. No viewers – no advertisers – no show – its a pretty simple formula. Freedom of speech works for all in this country including those such as Larry Flynt Seth McFarland Keith Olbermann etc… You may not like it or find it personally disgusting and stupid, but they do have the right to say it. Freedom of choice is a wonderful thing and no one is forcing you to watch the Family Guy. As the old saying goes, I may not like what you have to say, but I will fight to the death to protect your right to say it. Works both ways folks not just for Left wingers such as those crawl out of sewer at MSNBC or the far right wingers such as those idiots in the Westboro Church in Kansas. Freedom of speech applies to all Americans and there is no comprimise on that, so if you really believe in the equal application of Constitutional rights get over it, don’t watch or publicize their idiotic statements and they will just go away eventually.
