I was flipping through channels last night and saw Al Sharpton on the Ed Show (which is probably the worst political commentary show I’ve ever seen) talking about Rush Limbaugh. Sharpton sounded like a moron and I don’t see why anyone would take his opinion seriously. When he was asked if Limbaugh would be good for the NFL, Sharpton said that he will only be go for the Rams, not the rest of the league. Even Ed knew that this logic made no sense, that Limbaugh would raise interest in the NFL by talking about football to his audience of 18 million people. I’m not a huge Rush fan, although I do listen sometimes, but I hope he can clear his name if in fact these quotes were fabricated.

They clamor about him being a racist but none have listened to him. He is color blind and wants everyone to be given an opportunity to succeed through their own efforts. If this is racism then so be it. The left sees everyone of color and points this out and decides how to respond based on color, not as an individual. You decide who is racist.
I must admit I didn’t listen to Rush Limbaugh for many years, as I believed the negative comments written about him (often by so called conservatives). After listening to his radio show for the past year I have found him to be a refreshing,insiteful and often brilliant observer of the world around us.

I listen to Rush almost every day. He is very, very talented and entertaining and when he wants to be he is a very, very disgusting person. He knows how to be extra smart in some areas and stupid in others. He can pretend like he doesn’t understand the depth of a subject championed by the Left but yet he can see 10 years into the future with regards to challenges faced by the Right.
His major lie for today was that he isn’t a racist and has never been a racist and that he doesn’t say racist things. This is not true. Yesterday he said the people in Detroit who were in line to get money were hopeless, ignorant and pathetic for getting in line and trying to get money to help out their situation in life. He noted that most people in the line were black and this was a problem of the black community. Sorry but being broke isn’t just the problem of the black community. We’re actually in a recession Rush – which means there are a lot of communities in trouble. And this multi-millionaire called the money they were standing in line for a “pittance.” Can you imagine that? He said that they didn’t want to do better and that Obama didn’t want them to do better. He said Obama wanted them in the streets hungry and jobless. Does that make any sense? That is a lie.
Rush said that the white kid who got beat up on the bus was what Obama wanted for America – another lie. Rush said today – that Obama has created the “Circle of Strife.” He says during the first 9 months of Obama’s presidency has been the most divided he has seen the country and “he was alive during the Vietnam era.” Yet another lie.
And here is the definition of lie if you forgot: Lie: a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.
I’ll tell you what lies Rush has told. Uhhh wait.. he told a lie and I know it… OK, I’m not sure, but there is no question he’s told a lie. OK, I’m a gaping, runny orifice and I’m a liar when I say Rush lied. Sorry, but my liberal progressive corpuscles twitch when I lie and I kind of like it.
The leftists are hopeless idiots and are sickened in their mushy minds with a disease of not being about to discern right from wrong. They either start behaving like human beings or we are nearing the next US civil war when the time will come that we will shut them down not by words but by force. Even if Rush gets the team – the best part about it is going to be the fact that the best players aren’t going to want to play for him. So he won’t be getting any proven talents.
Ultimately the value of the team will go down. Do you think the other potential investors aren’t factoring in this? They are probably going to pull out and try again minus Rush.

I am happy to report that the fat pig Rush Limbaugh has been kicked out of the buyer group.
I pat myself on the back, since I personally contacted the group and said that as a young black teenager who looks up to the NFL and its players, I think it would set a horrible example if the NFL allows racists to own football teams.
I think my personal story about how I play high school football and want to play in the big leagues really got through to him.
I am young and black, and to Rush that is a problem. But I am also proud, one thing he is not.

I fail to see how anyones political affiliation has anything to do with owning a sports franchise.
As for racist, can you prove he’s a racist? Keep in mind when this gets in front of a judge, Limbaugh doesn’t have to prove he isn’t a racist. The defendants are going to have to prove he is a racist. They had better have some pretty damning evidence or be prepared to redefine the term racist.
Should he prove sucessful are you prepared to offer an appology?

I am a black man. I do not call myself “African American,” because I know nobody from Africa. I am just an American who has experienced real racism, and I am disgusted by what has taken place. For people to lie, slander, libel, and demean a man to keep him from buying a stake in a football team is disgusting. For some of you youngsters like Jamal, just calling a white man a racist doesn’t make it so. Get over your own biased views. You cannot assume that every successful white man is a racist. I do not care for Rush Limbaugh’s political views, but I have listened to his show. Nothing he says shows any evidence to me that he is a racist. How many racists do you know who would have a black man as their best friend and partner? The guy behind the scenes of the Rush Limbaugh show is African American, and from what I have read, he has the greatest respect for Limbaugh.
Since when has it become the burden of the accused prove their innocence? If you are going to accuse someone of being a racist, then it should be on YOU to prove it. You cannot read intent into the words of a man. Psychologists call that projecting. And when racism is not evidenced, but merely inferred by detractors, it is the detractor with the problem, and not the accused. Until any of you children witness someone being thrown out of a restaurant and beaten, then arrested and thrown in jail for going in the front door instead of using the “colored” entrance in the back, you don’t know what real racism is.
I think we throw the words “racist” and “racism” around too freely these days. They have become words of control and defamation, and almost always used incorrectly, instead of words to describe terrible people and the atrocities they have committed. I would venture to say that the real racism in this case is against Mr. Limbaugh. The assumption is made that because he is white, wealthy, and conservative, he is also a racist. That is the exact type of ignorance, or blatant intellectual dishonesty that is the start of something much worse.
White folks owe us nothing, but we owe it to ourselves to stop acting like mindless sheep. If we are still slaves, it is only to our own ignorance and entitlement mentalities.

I would also like to draw your attention to Limbaugh’s site on 09/18/09. Find the picture of the teabagger poster that has Obama dressed up like a tribal witch doctor and the accompanying comments. Limbaugh lies to his audience and say that isn’t Obama in the picture. Then Google Obama witch doctor images and come back and tell me that isn’t Obama in the picture.
