I was educated in Wisconsin before the liberal hack union thugs took control of the education system. Some of my most respected teachers from the past have become lib whacko's. Congress should not be handing out awards. Congress doesn't give due diligence to its legislation and it obviously gives less to selection of these awardees. They had to make the award to find out what was behind it.

It depends on the context of the award. You would have to inquire with the teacher about his reaction to your given hypothetical(s).

If he didn't want to accept the award because of his differences in POLITICS, he should have grown a pair and made it known he would not receive the award in the manner presented. True, Democrats did start the KKK, and Republicans were the ones who were most responsible for passing the Civil Rights Act. But you are forgetting, it is Democrats, and their Progressive masters, who instituted Planned Parenthood as a means of exterminating blacks in North America. It was Democrats who segregated the US military after it had been integrated by Republicans. It was Democrats who instituted the progressive income tax which is used to hold blacks in economic bondage, preventing them from exercising their rightful, INDEPENDENT, political power. It was a Democrat President who instituted the "Great Society" programs that destroyed black families, encouraged prolific illegitimacy, created generations of helpless dependents. And it was and is a Democrat party that keeps the NEA in power, resulting in failing schools that affect black and minority students the most, keeping them ignorant and powerless.

It will be a very messy day indeed when the black community realizes how they have been duped and enslaved by Democrats. In other countries, it usually ends up in civil war, with the oppressed hunting down their tormentors and exacting retribution.
