So, I’m watching FIX News cover a teabagger gathering on the Capitol steps. Does FIX not have a single camera that can show a wide shot so we can accurately see how well this gathering was attended? They keep showing a tight camera shot in the middle of the crowd with no one moving. I just know FIX News wouldn’t engage in propagandist tactics…would they?

Actually, trying to make the republicans feel guilty, because there’s a supreme court ruling “deem and pass” can correct a TYPO, is not on par with passing this dog. Where do I sign up to be a party to the lawsuit that Levin brings? Anything that brings the hateful obama and democRATS down is good for America.
Levin is a PATRIOT and a legal stud. He single handedly stopped the Demoturds from spitting on our Constitution. Pelosi, Hoyer, Reid and Obama should be kicked out of office for not honoring our Constitution. They are dangerous and have abused the public trust.
They’re not going to employ the slaughter rule – it’s dead. They’re going to have a straight vote tomorrow. The slaughter thing is too risky because it leaves everything vulnerable to repeal. A straight vote would make it less vulnerable. If the few remaining hold-outs vote the same way as they did back in June, then the Bill will pass by one vote. If any 1 of the 4 or 5 hold-outs changes his/her vote to ‘No’, then the Bill will fail. If the Democrats have the votes – they will proceed. If they do not have the votes, they may very well postpone tomorrow’s vote, again, to buy more time to twist arms. Most importantly, if this becomes law tomorrow, we cannot despair. Many conservative pundits and even scholars like Levin, have stated that repeal would be virtually impossible. Yet, if Democrats had that attitude, we wouldn’t be going through this nightmare right now – Did you ever think you’d see the day when our nation was in such peril of becoming totalitarian? We cannot fall prey to this mindset. It is not impossible. Forcing Americans to purchase a product / service for no other reason than they exist, is unambiguously unconstitutional. We will take the matter to the Supreme Court; and we have time before the worst of this Bill goes into effect. However, People will begin to see the negative effects immediately due to the inevitable job losses and high taxes. By the time 2014 rolls around, it will be even more despised than now, and will provide more leverage in SCOTUS. In November, we will have a Conservative Congress, and in 2012, a Conservative President – both 2 full years before Obamacare fully kicks in. If we are willing to keep fighting, Nothing is impossible.

Passing a bill like this, with such an enormous impact, WITHOUT VOTING ON IT… “DEEMING” IT TO BECOME LAW!

Dear Whatwhatwhat…here is a post given to another with the same question you ask about our government and the poor!
Jesus instructed HIS followers to take care of the poor and hungry…never a government of a nation! That charge was given to the followers of Christ.
Today we have the Salvation Army, The Purple Heart and others that have continually fed, clothed, and housed those of the poor. Every denomination has also done the same. My denomination has a drug rehab program, an unwed mothers program, a food pantry, etc.
Perhaps, the denomination you attend does not do these things and maybe you should start one to start doing the instructions given by Christ.
This should have nothing, nothing to do with government! It is not their charge to take care of the poor that is the responsiblity of individuals and churches.
And all administrations prior to this one have always recognized what individual denominations have done for years on behalf of helping the poor. That is why we have the ‘faith initiative’ programs that we have to help them financially to help the poor.
So if you prayed today that your government would take over the charge given by Christ to HIS church…you were praying in the wrong manner. You should have prayed that GOD would help your denomination and you, personally, to do what you can to fulfil the charge that GOD gave you and them!
Jesus would never approve of a government doing HIS charge…that is our responsibility and Americans of all faiths have always done everything they could to do just that.
Today I prayed that GOD’s will be done in this legislation…not my will! That is what HE would have wanted you to pray also…that HIS will be done…not yours!
Keep praying America…GOD is in control in all things…he sees tomorrow…we only see today…we trust HIM…we believe HIM…we pray to HIM that HIS will be done in our country, our world and in our lives!

The power is in the bill. The dems don’t care, because this is an absolute power & control bill.
