ANSWER: It has not made us any safer. In fact, we are less safe. It has been over thirteen years since OBL first declared war on the US. Clinton blocked communication between the FBI and CIA in order to hide his activities with the Chinese. Campaign contributions and sales of military technology. Both agencies had intelligence and had they been able to communicate they would have put it all together in time to stop the attacks. They would also have had to accuse Clinton of treason.

Al-Qaeda was in Somalia in 1992, they were in Bosnia in 1993, they were being chased by the CIA and MI-6 and Mosaad throughout the world since 1994. Cells were taken down by U.S. Forces in Kuwait in 1995 and again in Kenya in 1996. This is not news! They have been an ongoing problem for our intelligence/security services for 20 years. Get it straight!

I have two solutions.
Solution 1: Declare war upon every Arab and Muslim nations where terrorists hide, work, train and launder money. And tell them to either either rid themselves of these vermin or we will come and fix the problem ourselves. (Oops, can’t do THAT they may withhold or increase the price of oil. I guess we could just take the oil. It’s not like they could stop us militarily if we chose to do so.)
Solution 2: Close our borders to illegal entry by foreigners, round up and deport all Muslims that have entered illegally or have over-stayed their visa. Scrutinize every request for entry visas by anyone from the middle east or of the Muslinm faith. Monitor ALL communications by ANY Muslim American. (After all, if they have nothing to hide they shouldn’t care, right?)
You see?….any solution you come up with is going to be “wrong” acording to someone. Bottom line, we are a war with radical Islam. Non-radical Islamic elements seems to support it or at the very least they exculpate the terrorists actions. What do we do? Eight year wars are not the answer! No nation can support that without the citizens sacrificing quality of life.
I think it comes down to this:
