I hate to break it to you, but EVERY state has unique problems and situations, NOT just yours. I don’t hear Missisippi whining for hundreds of millions of dollars from taxpayers all over the rest of the country to deal with their UNIQUE situation involving Katrina. I think they got hit pretty hard – arguably just as hard – as your state from that hurricane. California has wildfires and earthquakes to deal with, not to mention hoards of illegal aliens draining resources from one end of the state to the other. New York, well, New York has New York City; the financial “black hole” of the state. And I’m sure the Governors and Senators from all the other states could bitch and moan about their problems too.

I also think Florida got pounded pretty hard OVER THE LAST DECADE a few times from some storms too including three in 2004 and two and 2005 for a total of EIGHT since 1992, including a category 5. I didn’t hear them whining about their “unique” situation and wanting to pick the pockets of the rest of the country to pay for their problems.

So why don’t you follow your own advice and just SHUT THE H=LL UP.

Yea Mary…I really don’t think too many people would like you to live here anymore…you surely don’t represent us and what we stand for in this state. I think you might actually get boo’d out of restaurants like Ben Nelson…..so I wouldn’t show your face too soon.

She is a disgrace. Houstonians know all about the “Katrina” saga, as we had to take on 250,000 of them. Our crime rate went sky high. They got food stamps, welfare, free education and other free benefits at our expense. Many are still here, and when their “practically free” housing program nears it end, they protest until the program is continued. She should make headlines by “begging” them to all come back home to Louisiana.

30 years of self serving interest and we almost got a tear for 300 million.
