There's your tax dollars at work…………..your childrens furture depends on bring these unions down, cutting off the Obama funds to these guys…Unions are insignificant in America…its up to us to keep it that way.
Democrats NEVER pay for anything out of their own pocket. I can only bet that Tax Dollars were used for this hoopla. Why do I say this? It was either Obama and/or Bidden that attended this and had a "behind closed door meeting" with all of the big wigs …no media, no cameras, no phones, nothing. Yet the trip was a government trip …ala tax dollars. So what wasn't covered by Tax Dollars was covered by Union Members Dues & maybe a few dono's.
What benefit to the workers is it for these elitist to gather together wasting union funds?

Well, why not? It's right down the street from their condos that were paid for by Union Dues.
You can bet there are thousand of union members who don't like this waste of their money one bit. But you can also bet there aren't many who would risk their jobs OR their personal wellbeing by speaking out against the union execs! Union big wigs manage the unions and their money like Communist dictators. If you don't like it, you might end up hurt or worse. SEIU is one of the best examples.

Meanwhile, the grunts who pay union dues are worried about their do-nothing jobs.
I don't understand why this is suddenly big news.This has been going on for at least 50 years. WHen I was a union steward I was surprised at how they spent our dues on luxery hotels, but no one else seemed to notice. We need unions because the employers overstep their bounds, but we don't need them misleading and mistreating people.
No, you are right about the first part. Look at charitable donations from the liberals. They give very little from their own pockets. Why should they? It's win-win, when they take it out of the pockets of working people. However, union dues are what pays for a whole lot of luxery hotels, limos, and entertainment. The trick is to make it a requirement for workers to belong to a union to get their jobs, then take more money from the working people-like my wife has to do.
Looks like we got another NEVER served worthless rightey.
I hope all of you union members enjoy the fact that your "leaders' are living high off of YOUR union dues. Useful idiots.

Union Members, Wake up! These morons do not represent you. If you still feel that you need a union, organize locally for your collective bargaining. You do not need these international unions stealing your dues to invest in their own political power. They should be investing your dues to secure your retirements. In the end, you will get peanuts. You are already organized, so vote these bums out. You can elect your own leaders locally, and still have your collective bargaining force.
I sincerely believe, that most of you know this is wrong.
Having a big boondoggle on the money union members are force to pay out of their wages and it's called good.
