There is no such agenda, NEOCON or otherwise. Nobody in this country is interested in running anybody else’s country. Nobody is interested in perpetuating any wars at all. The purpose of invading Iraq after invading Afghanistan was to forestall a game of “dogpile on the wabbit.” That is, to keep potential investors from taking Al-Qaeda up on further proposals to launch attacks on us. And today, we have fulfilled yet another milestone on the way to the freedom and sovereignty we promised to the Iraqi people.
This happened on my watch. I was one of many, many adult Americans who studied up on the issues and engaged in the huge conversation to decide our course of action in Iraq. I have found ways to get the news, I’ve cross-checked hundreds of stories; I’ve watched hearings and debates, I’ve written emails and letters to my representatives and to the appropriate members of the executive branch. I am also one of the 5M people that voted across party lines to keep George Bush in office. I am glad we did that.
I sincerely hope that, when it’s your watch, your age group does as well.
Charles…it has been the pleasure of “real” Americans all over this great nation to give you a smile and a chuckle this last week.

Fox coverage was okay, but not a dumbfounded, lip-curling, sneering mug to be found. Then, free speech gets a buck up from the suupreme court. What a week indeed!
As for the rabid libs posting here. Who cares, they’re as irrelevant as their political beliefs. Like all libs, they’re great at limiting freedoms and spending other people’s money. As they post their bile laden missives, remember, this is the collective mindset of unemployable gen-x(ers) in their mom’s basement. The best retort you could launch at them is: Take a bath, get a haircut, get a job and find out what it is like to earn you own way in life.
Of the conservatives who post, I’ve no doubt they’re gainfully employed and would be in any recession, primarily because they’re useful. Unfortunately, those post-a-minute libs are only what the Soviets used to dub “useful fools.” In the final analysis though, I could give an “Air America” about their ramblings in the midst of the massive conservative shift that is about to overtake congress.
No one beats Krauthammer as a political pundit. He is absolutely tops. He recognizes that liberal (AKA relativist) policies would turn our great nation into a member of the third world. We have to protect our borders, language, and culture or else wind up like our seething and chaotic neighbors to the south.
