This is impeachable. The Congress writes laws. The Supreme Court interprets laws. The Executive branch enforces laws. They don’t get to pick and choose which laws to enforce. There is a federal law that would allow them to back up Arizona, to say we are not going to enforce the law because we don’t like it, or we don’t like Arizona’s law, is dereliction of duty. If so, then how then would you propose we convince the House to impeach the President? On what specific charges of “Treason, Bribery or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors” would you have the House charge the President with, that they themselves are not equally guilty of?
I say again, this is not analogous to cutting off the head of the serpent. It is more analogous to eradicating a pestilence or overcoming an infection. I truly wish it were so simple as to eliminate one man to restore Constitutional order and refresh our liberties. I suspect it would have been accomplished long before now if that were the case. But what we face is far more grave. We are now pitted against millions of our own countrymen. If our Constitutional Republic is to survive, we must defeat a multitude of enemies, not just one.

I was reading the HLS files on who has been caught crossing the border. 3600 alone were from the Middle East and all of muslim countries. They have a dropping point in Mexico where they then cross into Texas and Arizona. Obama and Bush both know this……and they pretend to “protect us at the airports”. They are so concerned about our safety, while leaving the back door open.. WHY?? For power, money and the world domination.

I see where you’re coming from, but let’s discuss it a bit further. Consider Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution:

I think we sometimes get into trouble when we expect the government to protect us. It is true that Obama has a duty as Commander in Chief to direct the military in such a manner as to defend the country as a whole. It is also the duty of the Federal Government generally, and not just the President or the executive branch, to protect the country against invasion. Thus saith the Constitution.
However, I think the far greater danger is posed by our government, not because it is not adequately protecting us, but because it is actively preventing citizens from protecting ourselves. Does anyone here doubt the ability or the willingness of the ranchers of Arizona, or for that matter, patriotic men and women from all over this Republic to repel this invasion at our borders, to secure their property, and put an abrupt and emphatic END to what is happening at our Southern Border states, if their hands weren’t being tied by the likes of the Big Sister, Erik Holder, et al? I have no doubt whatsoever.

Given the unliklihood of success, I disagree with many of my fellow patriots on the impeachment subject. Rather, I think Obama should be the LAST of the seditionists to fall, not the first. Let him wallow in despair as his circle of allies grows ever smaller. Yes. Obama is a globalist, which is not surprising, since “Progressives”, (communists) are globalists by their nature. Progressivism is a global world view. Their motto is not “Live Free or Die”, it is “Think Globally, Act Locally”. Their interest does not lie in preservation of this country. Quite the contrary. The United States and it’s Constitution, in their minds, are the largest obstacles to be overcome, in order to form a more perfect global union. This is the number one reason I oppose tolerating their very presence in this Constitutional Republic, because I believe that the world’s people will never agree on one socioeconomic system. Some people are naturally inclined toward collectivism, (socialism, Marxism, Leninism, Fascism, or any other the other forms). They feel more secure and prosperous when there is a government-guaranteed sense of equality. Others, conversely, naturally crave the animated contest of freedom. They wish to pursue their own happiness and prosperity and keep what they earn, without having it stolen at the tip of a government bayonet to be given to those who did not earn it. I believe that there should be room for these opposing viewpoints to live apart in peace, for they can never live together in peace.
Our Constitution and the tenets of collectivism are diametrically opposed, each designed to eliminate the other. That is why the political climate is so bitter in America today. It is because two sides, wholly incompatible with each other, are in a struggle for survival. The two cannot coexist. Since there are many other socialist countries around the globe to choose from; and since this country was founded on COnstitutional principles and not the principles of Marx, Lenin, Trotsky and Alinsky, I say to the Progressives: “Depart from us in peace. Once We the People permit our elected servants to circumvent the Constitution for any reason, the precedent is then set. Consider the Second Amendment for example. We allow our Congress to write blatantly un-Constitutional laws mandating that firearms meet a “sporting purpose” requirement before they can be imported into the country. Is it permissible then, to permit only free speech that deals in topics relative to outdoor recreation?
We did not get to this point in an abrupt manner. It has been brought on rather drip by drip, so that today, it is acceptable for even Republican Senators to author and pass un-Constitutional limitations on free speech, in the name of “campaign finance reform”. Article I, Section 10 of the Constitution, for example, may as well never have been written. It has been totally disregarded, as the present state of our currency attests.
Once one domino falls, the others are all in peril, including the most basic protections guaranteed in our Bill of RIghts. As our Constitution is steadily eroded, we devolve ever more into mob rule.

Why are those in the left-wing so bigotted and anti-Semitic? They bring their Jew-hate into every discussion.
I hope cooler heads prevail but I’m starting to doubt it will end without bloodshed. The left is cabable of anything including violence.

I think it’s because generally speaking, most Americans still believe that Constitutional order can be restored via the ballot box, and that we will not have to resort to the cartridge box. I see a lot of hope being placed in the 2010 and 2012 elections by many, including many here on this forum. That, and because as it stands, most Americans simply still have too much to lose. But, as collectivism and corruption continues to erode our Republic from within, and as it becomes increasingly evident to the world that the U.S. is bankrupt, and that our currency is essentially worthless, this could change. And it could change with stunning suddenness.

The Arizona immigration law is what I feel will remove Obama from office. Governor Brewer has requested assistance from this Administration and no replies are given. This is a clear violation of Obama’s oath of office, and his apathy & deceit is so bad, the U.S. military has the duty to remove him from office. Looks like Joe Biden is going to be our President for 2 years.
