Aside from illegal and unconstitutional elements of what’s going on, WHY does anyone want layaway insurance–pay now, get goods later should be kept at KMart. Why not chuck the entire 3000 pages and simply do the part that Obama assures will go into effect almost immediately. Such as barring insurance companies from raising rates for preexisting and from canceling insurance when we get sick? Obama has drawn his line in the sand: either vote for this bill or continue the status quo. Anyone with a functioning brain–one not damaged by pot or cocaine or some other awful drug–knows that much room for reform lies between status quo and this bill.

Remember, people, this president would have rammed worse than this down our throats if Scott Brown hadn’t upset his applecart. Yet now he speaks of how wonderful the democrats have been in crafting a bill that is “good for America.” He would have had no mercy in ramming the first catastrophe through around Christmas time, and he would have signed it into law months ago. It took them a while to figure out how to finagle procedural loopholes to circumvent the will of the majority and to get revenge on those who supported Scott Brown. This is clearly taxation without representation. Google it; refresh your mind of what happens when this is part of the political process. Do you remember studying “no taxation without representation” in middle school? Representing “WE the PEOPLE” matters, still. We are not getting it. Just wait until the other shoe drops, people will be outraged and it will be too late. This bill will be impossible to repeal. So don’t find comfort in the few who are suggesting it can be done.

People like you cite the military, but the only reason our military is the best in the world is because PRIVATE COMPANIES design and build the weapon systems that our military deploys and our soldiers are motivated because they are free American citizens protecting what much blood and treasure has been spent to obtain. When the government runs things, you get garbage entities such as the DMV, the IRS, the USPS, etc. – none of which do anything useful and just suck money down an endless pit. The USPS cannot compete with private entities such as UPS or FEDEX. The DMV is a worthless tax collecting entity. The IRS is the equivalent of the gestappo. If you honestly think that a govenment entity, accountable to nobody, will be able to run the healthcare system better than it is now, then you sir, or madam, are stupid.

Furthermore, the insurance companies are being used as a prop by the progressives to sell this trojan horse to you stupid people. It’s a trick. The insurance companies DO NOT SET THE PRICE FOR HEALTHCARE. The doctors, hospitals, drug companies, medical equipment manufacturers do. They have to pay for MASSIVE LAWSUITS on a regular basis because greedy people known as TRIAL LAWYERS suck as much money out of the healthcare system as possible. Taking the insurance companies out and replacing them with the federal government will do nothing to cut costs and will make the situation much, much worse, not better. If you want to reduce health care costs, you must first put caps on lawsuits and make it more difficult to sue doctors for mistakes. Here’s a newsflash everyone: YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!!! Yes. You. Dead. We are all going to die. It’s just a matter of how and when. It is in the best interest of doctors, hospitals, drug companies to prolong our lives, and they try to as best they can, but eventually you’re going to die of something. Unfortunately, in the USA, we punish these very same doctors, hospitals and drug companies with insane lawsuits constantly at the expense of every one of us. Every time somebody gets some out of control settlement or compensation for a mistake WE ALL PAY. Even the best doctors make mistakes. We all do. Are doctors not men? Are they supermen? Can anyone be perfect ALL THE TIME? Even if they were, you are still going to die and suffer compliciations at times. We cannot continue to punish the doctors for doing their jobs, thus drastically raising the cost of healthcare for everyone. THAT is why healthcare is so expensive. IT IS NOT THE INSURANCE COMPANIES. Same goes for drug companies, hospitals, medical equipment manufacturers, etc. It is this notion THAT WE ARE ENTITLED to some incredible compensation if a mistake is made that is destroying the healthcare system. Are there bad doctors? Of course. Should there be some form of compensation for negligence? Of course. But it has to be reasonable and not a lottery at the expense of the everyone else. A doctor that makes a mistake should not be an automatic pay day for a team of lawyers and compensation for life. Again, you are going to die and suffer anyway. If there were no doctors to treat you, then what? What would you do then? You would suffer with your injury, health condition or die. WE NEED TO STOP FEEDING THE LAWYERS and destoying the medical system. Okay, STUPID? DO YOU GET IT NOW?

And one more thing, stop thinking that healthcare is a right. It is not a right. It is a privilege to see a doctor. That doctor went to school for years in order to become a doctor. They do this voluntarilly. They are not drafted. You cannot MAKE people become doctors to serve your supposed “right.” There can be no “rights” that require the work or sacrifice of other FREE PEOPLE. DO YOU GET IT? What if I said to you that you had to pick up my garbage because it’s my right to have my garbage picked up and somebody has to do it. No, it’s a privilege. Just an observation…

If the healthcare bill passes… I believe there will be an invigorated legal challenge to the President’s status as a Natural Born Citizen. It seems that his status as a US citizen isn’t necessarily going to be pushed by politicians or the media. However, those disaffected by this administration’s policies could question (in my estimation) his standing as a Natural Born Citizen as his father was born in Kenya. A legal challenge could block further damage or possibly negating anything he’s signed into law.

Just an observation.

If they would not have been infatuated with the concept that America was “ready to elect a black man” this never would have happened.
