Probably because people like you Jon Stewart are usually too stoned to actually see your country being destroyed right in front of your eyes, while you are making lame assed jokes about it!

I can’t help it. I like Stewart and think he is funny most of the time. I believe he has admiration and respect for Roger Ailes. He realizes that he, like Ailes and O’Reilly for that matter, are not in the game of politics, but in the game of ratings.

This is why I, as a conservative, have scaled back on my watching of FoxNews. To have a loser midget like Stewart on the Factor, to continue to employ loser Geraldo Rivera and Shephard, and the fact that they constantly have Al the race hustler, black scourge, Sharpton on are all huge reasons to pass on viewership.

Come on Thor, having the leftists on Fox just gives context and makes the facts and comparisons that O’Reilly, Hannity and Beck put forth, that much more clear; Although Stewart tries to paint Fox as trumping up the seriousness of the things happening to our country, he validates Fox by admitting the legitimacy of the concerns that they voice. Personally I think Stewart is a closet conservative.

This is the same network that has Geraldo and Shephard Smith. They had Colmes on a show, and even now he is a contributor. They have Red Eye which is more Libertarian. They have tons of devoted liberal talking heads. Stewart is a smart guy but doesn’t know what he is talking about here.

Stewart is funny and witty, which is why he is on a comedy channel. I do give him credit for having some conservatives on his show. He has them on and debates/jokes with them. He might disagree with them but doesn’t treat people with contempt. MSNBC treats republicans and conservatives with contempt.

Jon is right… if you package a LIE well it can be sold , and as they saying goes ‘ there is a sucker born every min.

That was interesting. Jon inadvertently pointed out why his network is in the tank. “Journalists” have spent so much time in the last couple of decades analyzing the process and the narrative, they have forgotten what it is about. A good lie only sells for a short time, then reality catches up with it, and the facts don’t “fit the narrative”. Witness Obama-mania. The “narrative” (known to those of us outside the media as the explanation or events) is only consistently convincing when it consistently fits the reality as it unfolds in our lives. When it diverges from reality, it becomes so much dogmatic BS.

I don’t know what video you clowns watched but Stewart makes excellent points that O’Reilly never is able to refute. He clearly did not lose any debate to O’Reilly. Anyone who watches FOX knows that they have a far right wing agenda. Stewart is correct in that O’Reilly is the skinny kid in the fat camp but he still leans to the right the majority of the time. He is known and identified as a “right wing commentator”. The fact is that almost ALL of the FOX News “expert” an@lysts such as Rove, Mark Fuhrman, Limbaugh, Oliver North, Cheney, Palin, and the unbelievably slimy Dick Morris are from the loony fringe of the right. Can you even name some liberal counterparts to these people? If you can, how often are they on the air in comparison? Which of the FOX news shows is hosted by a liberal? Hmmm…NONE seems to be the correct answer. That some of you consider Rivera to be a liberal shows how far to the right this network is.

Jon Stewart just sings the same ole liberal anti conservative bull crap rhetoric especially when they have control of congress and the White House and continue to lead this country down the path of financial and social ruins and that is, you guys are against everything we are trying to do for this country. You’ve got to hand it to Stewart. He’s got guts going on TV and showing how ignorant he is of just about everything. Stewart didn’t even try to answer O’Reilly. When he gets cornered, he fires off jokes that don’t make any sense. Stewart can be funny, but his work is undermined by lack of curiosity in what the opposition thinks. If Stewart would take the time to actually try to understand conservatives, his humor would be more effective.

As for those who think all of Fox’s expert analysts are on the right, I can only imagine that they don’t watch regularly. Fox is very careful to put liberals up against conservatives on their shows. It’s what they do. On the other hand, the other networks rarely put conservatives on panels, or tend to team one conservative against two liberals. That’s the way they’ve always functioned. And you can’t tell me that there aren’t far-left people on the other cable networks. Keith Olbermann, for instance? Fox’s critics like to sound like they’re offering a substantive critique, but they’re not. They simply don’t like the alternative perspective because it puts them on the defensive. The Stewart video shows just that. He didn’t have any answers, just a set of lame jokes.

Wow. Oh, wow. Bill O’Reilly gets Jon Stewart to admit that there are reasonable concerns about this president.

Its simple math when explaining why Fox has such high ratings, they are the only conservative News Organization out there. The Liberals have ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN. IF you divide the US population in half to be Conservative or Liberal you get all conservatives watching Fox and all Liberals having to choose among many different stations. Of course Fox News will have better ratings, they have no real competition. It doesn’t mean Americans think Fox is “fair and balanced” or the most trusted news source, it only means that conservatives feel that way.

O’reilly absolutely destroyed Stewart.

The fact is, yes, Fox is technically the conservative news station, but at least they’re reporting on the news. The other stations constantly leave out anything that supports THEIR narrative, including Jon Stewart himself as O’Reilly pointed out. Jon Stewart went from being one of the best comics out there to being a complete tool who considers himself a legitimate news man. Remember when TDS was funny and not about interviewing politicians? I barely do. Even when Stewart does criticize the Left he plays softball with them. His Keith Olbermann criticism was pathetic. In the end he kissed the guy’s butt and told him how brilliant he is. Olbermann is a lot of things, but brilliant isn’t one of them.

Americans fall into the same “game-trap” with the media, as they have [with tragic results] fallen into with politicians and governing for decades. Why does everything have to turn into a football game for Americans? [the DNC VS RNC]. Here we see an example of the FOXsters going up against the NBCilkets? Simply put, all things are not just black or white. By feeding Americans “teams to take sides with”, these foreign owned and controlled international media corporations play you for the fool [all the while, you are being robbed blind].

The U.S. Constitution does not allow for duel loyalties. Yet 95%+ of ALL MEDIA in the USA are foreign owned and controlled. Why is this important? Predominate corporate structures dictate that corporate “divisions” operate in accordance with the parent corp’s strategic plan. Get it. Given such facts, how then do guys like Jon Stewart or Bill O’Really matter? NEWS FLASH…THEY DON’T, THEY ARE IN ALL CASES EMPTY SUIT TALKING HEADS HIGHLY PAID TO KEEP YOU ENTERTAINED IN THE “GAME-TRAP”.
