These people think they are far above the common man. So much so they in fact use the media as a propaganda tool with no regard for truth only the as a means to an end. Obviously there are very few who are really popular on their own which is why the don't stump without prompting visually or through an ear piece. Even short photo ops are a big deal requiring tight controls. Why hide if you have nothing to hide? What is there to fear from being truthful?

All our governors SHOULD be putting their fingers in this clowns face. Its it they, the Governors, who hold more intimate reponsability to the people of their State. The POTUS, and the bloated overextended fedgov, need slim down to its actual constitutional repsonsabilities and let Governors assume their rightful place as the true elected authority in the US.
Instead of photo ops, the Governors who have been under assault by this administration should have someone picking up the sound. Then there would be context, instead of one cherry picked frame to base the incident on.
