"With all due respect, it’s not the Kennedy's seat and it’s not the Democrats’ seat, it’s the people’s seat."

Amen, it is NOT the “Kennedy Seat”, it is an office that SHOULD be held by a public servant, not a perk for a “Dynasty”

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   January 12th, 2010 - 12:20 am

America…the first step in “real” Americans taking back our government from those who seek to destroy her from within…will start with Massachusetts!

The winner of this election for the dead legacy seat of the Kennedys…will be…Scott Brown…fiscal conservative!

“Real” modern day patriots, like those of their forefathers in Massachusetts will shout out…loud and clear…the “VOTE” heard round the world!

The naysayers proclaim it cannot be done in Massachusetts! The ‘mentally unstable’ Democratzi are throwing everything they can at winning for their party, but Massachusetts is going to win this seat for the continuance of our Republic…the legacy to our children and grandchildren!

Never, ever underestimate the power and determination of “real” Americans who are banding together from ‘all’ parties to save our Republic!

Let the countdown begin:

January 19th – 60 slug votes
January 20th – 59 slug votes

Thank you Massachusetts for starting off the 2nd revolution in America…the Voter Revolution of 2010!

You can’t say they didn’t see it coming! We called/we emailed/we rallied/we showed up at town halls/we wrote…we did everything to give them a chance to do what we, the American taxpayer wanted, but it feel on the deaf, the dumb and the blind!

They chose party over country…and we choose country over party!

GOD BLESS AMERICA…THE LAND OF THE FREE…AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE…AND WE ARE GOING TO SEE THAT IT STAYS THAT WAY!

———————————————————

THE REVOLUTION OF THE SILENT MAJORITY BEGINS ON JANUARY 19TH IN MASSACHUSETTS!

1. WE ARE INFORMED
2. WE ARE INVOLVED
3. WE ARE GETTING OUT THE VOTE!

WE WILL REMOVE THE ‘SLUGS OF 60’…GUARANTEED!

IMPEACHMENT OR THE ‘ORIGINAL’ KENYAN BIRTH CERTIFICATE…IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME…AND 2010 WILL BE THE TIME!

H2K   January 12th, 2010 - 12:21 am

Will the people of Massachusetts vote for a senator that isn’t an alcoholic? I’m not sure I’m feeling good about their voting judgement over the past 50 years. Teddy, Barney, Kerry…..

Good luck up there.

White guy   January 12th, 2010 - 1:07 am

motleycroo   January 12th, 2010 - 9:27 am

Thank you, thank you, thank you Scott Brown for making that point. The whole nation would do well with more sensibility like this…

BigMac   January 12th, 2010 - 9:31 am

Brown’s “Moneybomb” campaign raised $1.3 million in ONE DAY – yesterday!
Massachusetts CAN win this one for the entire country. We are depending on them to get out and vote and help others get to the polls!

As a former MA Democrat, I know how many Dems show-up and just pull the “D” lever and go home. This has to change!

BTW, I am not alone, there are thousands of MA Dems who are fed-up! I became a FL conservative and Tea Party member when Pelosi called patriotic Americans Nazis and “astro-turf.” I will NEVER vote Dem again!
Please donate to Brown’s campaign?

Lisa B.   January 12th, 2010 - 10:06 am

I’ll be contributing to his campaign.

Shedworld   January 12th, 2010 - 10:12 am

The website “Boston.com” of The Boston Globe decided to edit this part out of their video summary of the debate, seemingly to give more face time for the independent candidate Kennedy than Brown or Coakley. The headline also describes the debate as “Bitter”.
The force of the web will correct this, however.
It would make a great TV ad for Brown, IMHO.

Brien   January 12th, 2010 - 10:14 am

POW! GOTCHA…Gergen… Now there is a refreshing breeze…. A big THANK YOU to Brown

JBnID   January 12th, 2010 - 10:19 am

I have had a personal boycott of the state of Mass. since the gun control fiascoes of the 1960s. I buy nothing from Mass. an several other liberal states. Should they elect a Conservative….I’ll buy a can of beans to break the boycott and re-consider my position.

I absolutely love how Brown shuts down David (people want to know) Gergen. That “question” was a ridiculous leading piece of nonsensical crap.

That Gergen is such a yutz.

It’s the people’s seat!

Me thinks he may have the big seat one day…
President Brown has a nice ring to it…

Ann   January 12th, 2010 - 12:12 pm

Finally, a politician with both “smarts” and mettle. Thank you, Mr. Brown.

NOQTR4TR8RS   January 12th, 2010 - 12:41 pm

Meh…he talks a good talk. But I want to see him walk the walk for quite a distance before I even think about gushing over this guy, or talking about him in the White House. And, he may not even get the chance to walk the walk. After all, lest we forget, 95%+ of the black vote, most of the hispanic vote, the deceased vote, the felon vote, the non-citizen vote, the ignorant vote, the youth vote, the white guilt aristocracy vote, – all goes to Coakley. And in Massachusetts, unless this truly is the dawning of a new era, that’s more than enough to win.

This feels a lot like when Mitt Romney ran against Ted Kennedy. At the end of the day, Massachusetts voters chose to stick with the aristocracy. I’ll believe there’s a Senator Brown when I see it.

R from ID   January 12th, 2010 - 12:49 pm

In Massachusetts’s, words like this must be blasphemy.

Lisa B.   January 12th, 2010 - 12:50 pm

claspur: Ewwww, now that is one nasty thought…. Lets start with a spanking new seat. They can throw the old seat into the Chappaquiddick. Too bad old stinky Kennedy wasn’t strapped into it, now wouldn’t that be fitting?

The audience must be dead. That statement should have brought them to their feet.

rgallagher   January 12th, 2010 - 1:23 pm

It is a great comment….BUT should Republicans really consider this MODERATE a republican??? I thought that ANYONE who believes in a women’s right to choose, Gay equality, Climate Change etc… has NO room in the party?? Atleast that is what all the slackjawed Rush, Glenn , Hannity lovers write on this site everyday.

fulljump   January 12th, 2010 - 1:46 pm

Should he win and if he can get seated in time he would vote against obama care. He is strong on the war on terror, and against reading rights to terrorist, and will never vote to raise taxes. He can take the people’s seat and stick it to the rats. If he wins it is a game changer and worth any money you can send.

RWT   January 12th, 2010 - 1:50 pm

I love it that he told David “I’m a member of of the elite class” Gergin that the seat belongs to the people. having said that I will believe it when I see him in the senate. Unfortunately one of our most historic states is full of Liberal idiots and I won’t believe it until I see him actually on the senate floor.

I along with many others from around the country have already sent a contribution….will continue to send as much as possible even if it’s $5 or $10 it sure adds up…the people in the audience were told to not respond by clapping or any outburst during debate, that is why no-one clapped. GO BROWN GO!!!

anon   January 12th, 2010 - 2:14 pm

Kennedy seat? That’s a big seat to fill!

rgallegher, nobody’s jaw is quite so slack jawed as yours seems to be, dimwit.

kmichaels   January 12th, 2010 - 3:15 pm

This guy is so much better and more intelligent than the dem Coakley. But then, the people in that area did vote for a drunken chicken-sh_it for so many years.

DA BEARRRS   January 12th, 2010 - 3:53 pm

Ted’s mistake was not getting shot in the head like his two jagoff brothers. It was a great career move for them. He should have tried it a long time before he died from sucking up a Haig and Haig cork up into his brain.

LtothesubscriptofK   January 12th, 2010 - 7:10 pm

I faint glimmer of hope for the conservatives taking this seat!!

DREAM ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahhahahahhahahahhaaa!!!!

Whatwhatwhat   January 12th, 2010 - 11:40 pm

That’s just a stupid phrase this guy’s handlers came up with. No Kennedy is running for Ted Kennedy’s seat. If the Kennedy’s wanted it they WOULD win it easily and you know it. So stop trying to sound like you really said something when we all know you didn’t.

Hey “Whatwhatwhat” January 12th, 2010 – 11:40 pm,

“That’s just a stupid phrase” you say?

“If the Kennedy’s wanted it they WOULD win it easily” you say?

Hey Whatwhatwhat, are you a Dope-dope-dope or Nuts-nut-nuts or just a Moron-moron-moron?

Yeah the Kennedys, at this critical time, don’t want the PEOPLE’S SEAT IN THE SENATE. The seat that that socialist held for all those years?

On the verge of a critical vote on this garbage legislation, that they drool over; they don’t want this seat?

It’s the people’s seat!

And this… is a revolution!

And the people… are taking back our country from the left wing radicals who have such disdain for our beloved Constitution!

It’s the people’s seat.

Power to the people!

Martha Dobler   January 13th, 2010 - 3:26 pm

It’s the PEOPLE’S SEAT!!! Very nicely clarified – he defintitely earned my vote

Army of Davids   January 13th, 2010 - 10:58 pm

Coakley has been bought and paid for by the health insurance and pharmaceutical lobby. She also has SEIU money and troops pushing for her.

Joe American   January 19th, 2010 - 3:49 pm

Wow! Well spoken. I just hope and pray that the great people of Mass. realize the importance of this vote. If the public is tired of not being listen to, or is tired of all the corruption and payoffs to buy votes, then I hope and pray the common people of this great nation come out in large numbers to show we care and I pray they vote Scott Brown in. I pray that the people of Mass. start this movement of taking back America from the corrupt Congress. As Scott Brown said, it isn’t Kennedy’s seat, its the people’s seat. This goes for all the other seats that need to be voted out in the up coming elections. With the new people to be voted in to Congress, I hope and pray they also vote in a mandate of term limits on Congress. If there were term limits, then the Congressman will be more accountable because they would not be able to retire in Congress. With term limits, I also believe they should NOT get lifetime benefits or healthcare. They can be covered by the government while in office, but when their term limits are up, then they go back to being just like everyone else. NO more benefits for life. CEO’s don’t get benefits for life, why should Congress. If the Congressmen and Congresswomen did not get benefits for life then maybe they would voted in real reform for they would be effected just like you and I. So please, Mass. please vote in Scott Brown, so Americans can start the movement of taking America back from the corrupt Congress. To understand what I mean about corrupt, just look at how many votes have been bought so far, and those are only the ones we know about. President Obama, is just as bad. He ran on making Congress transparent and said HE WOULD HAVE ALL DEBATES AND MEETINGS PUT ON CSPAN. HAVE YOU SEEN ANY OF THIS? NO! So I feel he is just as bad. We don’t have a democracy when Congress and the President keeps us in the dark. Our founding fathers are rolling in their graves on how the Congress and the President are treating the Constitution. Just look at the use of Czars instead of Congress approved appointments. Americans, please continue the movement to take back America. Thank you all, and God Bless. Sincerely, Joe American.
