Is the GOP Uncomfortable with Palin’s Prominence?

"This is a story about how the fact that she's dominating the republican party externally right now and there's a whole bunch of people behind the scenes that wish she weren't there, don't how to get rid of her, don't know how to push her out of the way without alienating a huge chunk of the party's base. And it's fascinating to watch because she doesn't seem to be wanting to take the next steps."

Palin is not going to be the next republican president.

However, Palin was mistreated in the press by NBC, CBS and all the other Odumba supporting networks. On Fox treated her fairly.

The very fact that Palin is back in the Odumba supporters face is her best form of revenge.

We will see how much longer that witch Couric can keep her jobs. MSNBC Mitchell is another non profession. It very funny that I view Mitchell as an old hag-makes you wonder when the network will replace her with someone pretty.

Based on the video.

MSNBC Mitchell looks like a has been.

Is the GOP Uncomfortable with Palin’s Prominence? I WOULD HOPE SO.

The GOP RINO’s don’t like and don’t want Sarah Palin in the GOP, but the rest of us do.

Who should leave the GOP, the RINOs or Sarah Palin?

RINO’s, like John McCain, don’t belong in the GOP in the first place.

These RINOs need to start their own party. They could call
it the “RINO Party”
or the “Fence Rider Party”
or the “Flow with the Wind Party”
or the “What’s so wrong with Socialism Party”.

Roger   February 8th, 2010 - 1:02 pm

If the GOP is uncomfortable with someone so articulate, so clear on the platform that the GOP should be standing for, it says more about how badly the current leadership is doing than anything else.

Oh well, when Steele gets done with his paid speeches and his book tour, then he can focus on fumbling around some more.

eor   February 8th, 2010 - 1:19 pm

With MSNBC and CNN losing 50% of their viewers last year more than Mitchell may look like has beens.

jack   February 8th, 2010 - 1:21 pm

This is a story about how the fact that Sarah Palin’s dominating the Republican party right now and there’s a whole bunch of Liberal Socialist Democrats & RINOs behind the scenes LIKE MSNBC that wish Sarah Palin weren’t there, don’t how to get rid of Sarah Palin, don’t know how to push Sarah Palin out of the way without alienating conservative Independents

appalled lurker   February 8th, 2010 - 1:50 pm

This is going out to several blogs and threads because it needs to be stated:

Bottom line, -and I do mean BOTTOM line- all of you out there criticizing Palin for having a hangnail should think again before you go on to defend flop ears for being the president… because that’s where you LOSE the argument, ANY argument, completely. The bold faced temerity of all of you is beyond belief! America has as its occupant in the U.S. White House most likely the WORST president ever in our existence. Every one of you 0-holes has NO ROOM TO CRITICIZE a single aspiring political prospect right now. Most people in your place would be hiding under the sheets every morning before heading out to face the inveterate idiocy of a *leader* that you voted in, not to mention — what the U.S. has been forced to be shamed with.

You don’t like Sarah Palin? Fine! Be big enough to JUST SAY IT! And then stop there, stop right there…because every single torpid one of you uh-Os HAS ABSOLUTELY NO ROOM TO TALK BEYOND THAT!

btw, how is that hopey changey stuff working out for ‘ya?

Airwick   February 8th, 2010 - 2:38 pm

Face it, the GOP is absolutely terrified that this very dim-witted woman will be around in the near future and 2012 in particular. If you want to guarantee an Obama reelection, then push her to the top of the ticket. She is the Republican equivalent of George McGovern and we know how well he did!

H2K   February 8th, 2010 - 4:08 pm

Arwick, once again, very insightful. It’s amazing how the US base electorate is becoming much more involved in the state of our country – including how terrorism is handled (terrorists given US citizen rights), foreign affairs (allowing Iran to continue down it’s path of weapons development), and economics. We see a person in the White House and a group with majorities in Congress and the Senate who see no problems with terrorist/citizen rights, nationalizing huge chunks of our economy, and a national debt that increased by almost 300% from Bush – whom we all thought was a big spender.

Now that we’re more involved, and we have someone in the form of Sarah Palin who articulates the message concisely, we’re dim witted?

Who I think is dim witted are those that voted for Obama expecting center-right policies from a demonstrated racist/socialist/Marxist.

H2K   February 8th, 2010 - 4:10 pm

By the way, I can’t read all that is written in Andrea’s hand. All I can see is “I like to s**k….” and then I can’t see the last word….maybe it starts with a “d”.

Any help from anybody?

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   February 8th, 2010 - 6:41 pm

America…I like Governor Palin…I think she was thrown under the bus by Johnnie McCain and his team. I voted for them, but now have had a change of opinion in regards to both of them in the last year!

As to Johnnie…I realize now how much of a moderate ‘fence sitter’ he is! He was the lesser of two evils of the campaign for President and that is the only reason he got my vote!

I had major differences with him in some areas, but being the lesser of two evils I felt I could work around those when they came up after he won! He didn’t win…he rolled over and died!

Now here we have Governor Palin…I like her…I really like her as a woman, as a mother, even as the Governor and candidate for VP! However, I think the 15 mins of fame are up!

I have never commented on her because I didn’t want to come against her, but I cannot stand silent any longer!

What took me to this point…that this conservative Republican is endorsing wholeheartedly two…not one…but two moderate ‘fence sitters’ of the Republican party.

Why is she actively campaigning to re-elect Perry in Texas and McCain in Arizona?

This does not ring true for me…about the spirit of reform we are looking for in this nation in 2010!

There are other more conservative members of the Republican party running against them…

Debra Medina in Texas and J Hayworth in Arizona!

I encourage you to take a good look at this fascination with Governor Palin and pay attention to where she is leading you!

Take a look at the web sites of Debra Medina and J Hayworth to see how they stand on the issues. If those issues closely resemble what you want and the change you want to be involved with, do something to support them financially.

They are going to need all the financial support they can to fight the big money machines of McCain and Perry!

We need to now support ‘true’ conservatives in all parties…not go with the status quo…no matter who endorses them!

Do not be misled again by voting for someone just because someone else recommends them. Do the research and make up your own mind!

As to Governor Palin, please be careful on who you endorse…we want ‘hope’ and ‘change’ in 2010 and not more of the moderate ‘fence sitters’ who have taken us to this place in our nation!

WHO CARES?.
They have no one else, who can touch her……….
Yeah, their correct to be UNCOMFORTABLE.And the Dems, for sure know it………….
That’s why she and her family has been mercilessly attacked since she came front and center in 2008.
Scared SPITLESS.

Airwick   February 8th, 2010 - 7:32 pm

Eileen,
The fact is that if “Johnnie” McCain had not picked her for his running mate you would have never heard of Palin.

The GOP has got to find someone else or they are in serious trouble. This woman simply cannot win the “big one” and that should be obvious to anyone with even a little knowledge. Republicans cannot win without moderates and moderates will not vote for her.

Case closed. Now write that on your hand, Sarah!

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   February 8th, 2010 - 10:08 pm

Dear Airwick at 7:32 pm…I totally agree!

It is a long way to 2012…we take one day at a time…and there will be someone, other than Governor Palin, that will carry the banner and take back our government from those who seek to destroy her from within!

But we are not looking for any man/woman to be our ‘messiah’…we are looking for a man/woman of vision who has the commitment to our Republic and it’s people…not for their own personal gain!

Someone willing to forge the way to the future without sacrificing the future of our children and grandchildren…in these difficult changing times…while still maintaining the greatness of it’s past!

The GOP isn’t nearly as uncomfortable with Palin’s prominence as the left is. She soooo gets under their skin.

These people have been dunked deep in bile.

THO PROTEST TOO MUCH …any one watching the TV know’s dam well most the Talking Heads Hate SARA , thank you Andria and friends for the conformation.

Bob Smith   February 9th, 2010 - 5:01 pm

Wow, the talking heads really get worked up over Sarah Palin; it’s fun to watch! To compare a few words written on your hand to a full, teleprompter speech is just ridiculous! And where does that Scarborough guy get off saying that Chris Wallace rolled his eyes in contempt? I have to admit that the media has been successful in preventing SP from being a presidential contender, but it is fun to watch them squirm at the thought of it, and see them going off whenever she is in the news.

oxbobend   February 9th, 2010 - 5:32 pm

Well said airwick—–She does not and never will appeal to moderates, both Repub and Demo, and with out them the teabaggers will never come close to winning any election. This messenger has no creditablity to the majority of the voters. There is nothing wrong with the message, it needs to be heard and many questions need to be addressed to our politicians. This is merely a case where the messenger obscures the message. The Conservative message deserves better.

DrEdu   February 9th, 2010 - 5:38 pm

This pearl is for the brainless Left (those who are terrified of Governor Palin).

I was going to quote a story from The Bible: How David actually quit being a shepherd to go make chopped liver of Goliath of Gath.

That is what Governor Plain did when she quit: she is coming after you!

But then again, I think you have never read The Bible (that exercise requires some intellect…and it probably burns your possessed hands) LOL

So, let’s get you something easier, something you probably saw in the movies (if you were not stoned, as usual).

Do you remember The Lord of the Rings? Well, do you recall Eowyn, daughter of Eomund, Lady of Rohan? She said once: “I am not a serving-woman. I can ride and wield blade, and I do not fear either pain or death. But I do fear to stay behind bars, until use and old age accept them, and all chance of doing great deeds is gone beyond recall or desire.”

Eowyn, like Sarah Palin, did quit her job…and went to slay the Nazgul Lord (Lord Obama, if you like).

So…run…run for cover you little trolls and goblins…SARAH will make a stew with your remains…and will feed it to the pigs.
