Oddly, when us Democrats are spending all this money “I” worry about it far far less than when Bush was in… Maybe there is some back and forth political spending disease there that I have now?? Maybe some doctor should be studying that ?:|

And the fancy elements in the Prius’ batteries are in all you laptops and cell phones too and they can be happily recycled. So go whine somewhere else…

Rare Earth?

Yeah, I remember them. Great band. I still have a few of their albums.

One of the songs that comes to mind…”Hey Big Brother”. Funny, the band was ahead of the times wasn’t it?

But albums are made out of that evil, energy-draining, non-biodegradable plastic.

Think about how big a carbon footprint those things had…and well worth it!

I hope no one thinks that killing 50-60 million people is going to slow down the Pro-Regressive crowd.

The four major claims of the Global Warming supporters:

1) ‘The temperatures are rising” – Actually they have fallen in the past ten years. Though it is the hottest decade in a while it hit its peak in 1998 and is slowly decreasing, consistently.

2) “The Sea Levels have risen and will rise.” The truth is, as a fisherman I have noticed higher high tides and lower low tides making the median level around the exact same.

3) “Glaciers and Ice Around the World is Shrinking” Truth is the ice stretching into the ocean has decreased but at the same time increased on the main body to return to its full compaction. It is also true that some glaciers in the world shrink and some expand. In Alaska we have one that grows every year and this type of glacier is found all over the world, they just aren’t reported on by the GW supporters.

4) “Natural Disasters will increase” Claimed after Katrina, but since then there has been very little activity. So little that this decade has had the least amount of natural disasters since they started recording them.

In this way we see that the debate is not over and that the earth is going through a natural change in climate, getting cold and then hot and cold again. Man made carbon emissions do not even come close to what the earth produces on its own. This is a fact no one will deny.

Global warming (the myth) is a direct threat to the American Way of life and A. Gore and his types are making big time dinero from all this hyped crap…….wake up people and follow the dribble money trail…..it will ALWAYS show the truth….

A Prius doesn’t run on batteries – it runs on smugness. The more smug the owner the faster it goes. LOL

I am no scientist but in the seventh grade i was taught that matter could not be created nor destroyed. (more on this later) I remember my 9th grade science teacher (Clay Wilson) telling our class that the gasoline engine was the least efficient of all modern technology. I agree with him. I creates high temperatures to operate. I requires a radiator to dissipate heat back into the atmosphere. So the heat lost was an inefficiency. That heat should be harnessed in some way….

it all comes down to the basic laws of physics…. to move an object a distance it will require a required amount of force…. or energy. Weather we get this energy from a gallon of gas or from a battery produced in China the end result is the same. The energy required to produce the battery in China offsets any energy consumption gained by someone driving a Prius.
Thinkof it in basic terms….

you are riding your Ten Speed bike up a hill… you put it into lower gear… sure it is easier to paddle but you have to make more revolutions of the paddles to climb the hill… if you were to put it in lower gear you would get up the hill much faster… but in the end you would have exerted the same amount of energy….

So…. what are we doing here…this climate change BS is telling us that we can have the same lifestyle except with higher taxes and we will teach the world to be enery efficent…. BS… the Liberals have killed Millions of people with the ban of DDT…. if the devolping countries of Africa would have the techonology of DDT? How many more human lives would be on the planet…. REsearch it… DDT saved lives…..
