Is this any surprise. France last week told us there was more to the Iranian nuclear program than we knew and that they were farther in their efforts then they are allowing to be said. (Source: http://www.americanparchment.com) It was that same time that Obama said he was scrapping the program that was already partially paid for of two missile defense shields in Poland and Czech. Obama may not be scrapping it completely but this will take years to finish and my question, why is Russia so happy about the change?

I don’t agree with Trent with regard to the WTC and some other matters but he is absolutely correct (as is Dave) on this issue. Why is it that the Israelis can get away with possessing nukes and violating one UN sanction after another? The Bush Administration cited Iraq’s violations of 18 resolutions as justification for invading them yet the Israelis have violated many times more resolutions while we continue to back them. Why? The Iranians have a right to nuclear energy and their reluctance to allow inspections revealing the location and layout of their facilities is understandable given our duplicity in this region. The details that the “inspection teams” gather today could be on the Israeli attack plan tomorrow and the Israelis never showed any reluctance to destroying anything, or anyone, that they did not like. They ignore all International Law when it suits them. Any inspection of facitilies should be tied to a guarantee that any attempt by Israel to destroy them will be met by force (NATO, Russian, US) to stop them.

I dont know why anyone would be surprised. For a country run as a Theocracy, they sure are interested in nuclear development. I am betting Israel will take out the facilities. Of course, the Iraqi government will probably not let them fly through and expect US/Allied interception. Be interesting to see who’s side dingleBarry is really on.
