He was detained, like all Indians should be, for impersonating tech support.

It’s Bush’s fault.

If that guy’s mouth runs off as much when he’s questioned as it does when he’s retelling the story, I’m surprised he wasn’t in there for a week.

Anyone else would have been looked after in about 4 minutes.

hahaha! impersonating tech support! funniest comment this story will ever generate, to be sure!

j shep   August 16th, 2009 - 5:25 pm

Real actors simply do not have the time to submit to an interview, phone or otherwise. This guy is clearly stumping on this issue to generate interest in his name. Cheesy.

Eddie   August 16th, 2009 - 7:25 pm

Ahh, Trent. You have nailed it with that comment! And also you have apparently been on tech support’s 1-888 line for hours the same as I have! Good one!

By the way, does this guy have any shame? Why would you tell anyone that you were a Bollywood star? If you’ve never seen one of those movies, you just wouldn’t understand.

Who? From where?   August 16th, 2009 - 7:51 pm

Spoken in Apu’s voice, from “The Simpon’s” “Oh I’m soooo very, very sorry…don’t you know who am? I am very much a movie star…”

Vadai   August 16th, 2009 - 7:53 pm

These Indian stars are treated like Gods by the masses (mostly illiterate) in their country, so they expect the same treatment when they go abroad as well. Let’s send him to Gitmo! and ask the questions there: ) Get real people we have too much going on in this country that have to be resolved to be wasting time on this guy . If you don’t like to be questioned, don’t come here. I have been to Mumbai, and let me tell, the officers there treat every one like a criminal (unless you are Sharuk)

Taxi! Taxi! Airport and step on it !!   August 16th, 2009 - 7:54 pm

Isn’t this guy the hack that picked me up at JFK? Uses “ode de armpit” cologne?

edword   August 16th, 2009 - 8:04 pm

Outrage? I kinda doubt it. More like typical media exaggeration.

They know how things are…even better than many of us do.

Ferdinand   August 16th, 2009 - 8:50 pm

Who gives a flying %&(. Maybe the armpit smell was the cause for his arrest.
Sincerely.
