I called my representative today about the health care bill. He (Kratovil) has not made up his mind yet.
He is reading the bill….yea right.
I gave his office an earfull….civilly of course and told the nice young man that if Kratrovil votes for this bill I will work as hard as I can to make sure he never ever has another vote that will impact this country.

Rescued the economy? If by rescued he meant assaulted with everything they had at their disposal then yes, I would agree. You cannot take a Constitutional Republic with a free market economy and directly inject socialism into its veins and not expect what’s happening to us today. Obama knew this from the get-go but didn’t care, we are in fact under attack from within. He and the Pelosi party are at war with the US taxpayers.
Our phone calls and faxes didn’t work in stopping the double debacle: TARP and CapnTrade. It’s too easy to ignore the voices of the citizens when these so-called “representatives” are insulated in D.C., threatened by Pelosi and Obama and bribed with untold billions of dollars.
Here’s what does catch their attention: starring in YouTube videos, being laughed at, mocked, and yelled down by their constituents. Sadly, that’s what we have to do to get our message across. Emails are ignored, fax machines are turned off, and staff members are told to say, “The Congressman/woman hasn’t decided…”

I am one of those now in the unemployment line – directly because of the kenyans’ SCHIP and MEDICAID cuts. I do not see anything that is promoting or gaining me even an opportunity at a job. I can’t even get an interview or appointment with an employer to discuss my credentials and experience. I send 50-100 resumes out each day to prospective employers all over the country and they are leveraging the unemployed to pay them half of what they normally would earn.
I did not vote for the kenyan and am in real trouble financially, losing my house, credit and happiness because of this illegals’ policies. I am now considering retirement and working at Home Depot to pay some of my bills, will no doubt have to declare bankruptcy. Hope I can escape that as quickly as GM and Chrysler.
It is way past time to vote all of them out. Don’t tell me “my representative is GOOD so I’ll keep voting for him…” We need term limits people, lets get some fresh blood in there… people who have actually held a REAL job, made a payroll and even pay for their own health care. (You will notice that no one in congress is willing to give up the insurance they have for the government insurance they are trying to push on us). If they do not answer your emails or calls, then go to any town meeting they sponsor. It is time we hold congress/president accountable for their actions.

Now, the idea of national healthcare has every body waiting for the other shoe to fall. The costs will run the national debt through the roof, causing massive inflation, even higher unemployment, and the defeat of an America we once knew. I told you this was going to suck.

Not certain where the one using the “Standing In the Unemployment line” what state they are living. However here in OHio, We sign up via the phone or internet. I have not seen a unemploument person in years. The state of Ohio closed most if not all of the ODJFS office, so when we need to get in touch with them, we e mail or spend two days calling the 1-888 number we are givin. I spent Monday all day and 4 hours Tuesday this week trying to call them after THEY Sent me a e mail asking for more info and the number I needed to call to give them this info.
Which brings me to seeing how the ODJFS IS a GOV Dept, what will happen when Pope Barack gets Uni Health Care passed. We will wait for a Dr and wait for a hospital and then when we need to sit for days calling over and over to get a LIVE person.

Per my understanding the Obama stimulus package was more than all the money spent in Iraq. The stupidest thing that Bush did was spend the TARP money. Obama followed that up by spending more on a stimulus package and now wants to set an all time record by passing universal health care and cap and trade.
I realize that most of the stimulus package has not been spent yet, but unless there is a change of power I am sure it will eventually be spent.
Your President is like a Vegas gambler who never wins but keeps raising his bet with money borrowed from anybody foolish enough to give it to him.

Based on the way this administration is behaving, one would think that they were the agents of a foreign enemy power … it’s as if the president weren’t a real American …OH… right, I forgot… he isn’t.
When I went to renew my driver’s license they wouldn’t accept the original birth certificate from the hospital where I was born. I had to get an official document issued by the state. Is it really asking too much from BO to show us a legitimate birth certificate? I hate to get online with the conspiracy lunes but I’m afraid this time they’re right.

And of course the whole argument is a straw man. I would be willing to bet that none of the people posting here were in favor of excessive spending spree during the Bush years. I don’t remember anyone in the Democratic congress objecting at the time either. Come on, do you really think that conservatives are more in favor of spending than Democrats? It was the Democrats (Frank, Dodd) that enabled the biggest financial meltdown since the depression. They demanded banks to lend to people who couldn’t afford to pay their mortgages.
The fact remains that since Obama has been in office, the market has tanked, unemployment has risen to record highs, deficit at record levels, etc. The numbers don’t lie.
