Huckabee may be conservative when it comes to social issues, but he’s a RINO, like McCain, when it comes to fiscal policy.

Go ahead and pitch your big tent, just make sure it have a good fire escape plan.

Huck you are no better than McCain. We will choose some unknown to bring the party back to its roots. You have been Washingtonized. sir you are no longer wanted.

B Holland   December 9th, 2009 - 3:30 pm

Huck and Sarah 2012 ! LOL That would be GREAT ! I might even grow my own tomatoes for the throwing.

Whatwhatwhat   December 9th, 2009 - 5:16 pm

The conservative movement is already dying due to its own ignorance and stupdity but I’m all for anything that will help it along.

Sarah Failin and Huckabilly 2012. PLEASE!!!

Laffing at What(turd)what   December 9th, 2009 - 6:54 pm

(Upc)huckabee isn’t a conservative and what(turd) is a fleshy sword swallower about the same difference…

Both should go away!!

Kevin   December 9th, 2009 - 7:14 pm

Huckabee is just trying to win back conservative support after “PardonGate”. As many others have said before, this man is a liberal.

I hope he keeps his day job on Fox and gets out of the way.

Waffen SS   December 9th, 2009 - 7:17 pm

Huckabee has had his day we won’t be fooled AGAIN!!

happy   December 9th, 2009 - 10:43 pm

Actions speak louder than words. You stuck your foot out and tripped Mitt Romney every chance you got. It was up close and personal.

poof   December 9th, 2009 - 11:52 pm

Ill take this guy over Palin any day….

Dan   December 9th, 2009 - 11:56 pm

One of the biggest mistakes the republican party could make in 2012 would be to nominate Mike Huckabee. He is just another light weight

therightscoop   December 10th, 2009 - 12:01 am

That was very well said Huckabee. You ROWK!

TulsaMark   December 10th, 2009 - 12:10 am

Huckabee is a bleeding heart who commuted many sentences he shouldn’t have: that’s not conservative.
Huckabee raised taxes like a Democrat while governor of Arkansas: that’s not conservative.
Huckabee sides with McCain when it comes to amnesty for illegals: that’s not conservative.

Vamp   December 10th, 2009 - 12:42 am

After Huck’s cop killing disaster, he is just trying to ‘hack up’ some new thing to keep him politically alive.

Huckbee’s ‘pray and release’ program failure has killed six people – so far… His Huckpack president just resigned if you were watching…

A boat anchor for the GOP and conservative Christian right wing losers…

Bye bye Huck… To bad you had to kill so many good folks just to gain your stupid quest in politics…

FastFacts   December 10th, 2009 - 12:44 am

The Democrats can be encouraged about this statement for it is CORRUPTION that will destroy their party. Democrats are losing people hand over fist because of their dishonesty and corruption.

Today http://www.americanparchment.com, in their ‘31 Corrupt Politicians in 31 Days’ program, has targeting Rep. Jan Schakowsky who is the spouse of the man that may have designed the strategy to turn the so called Public Option into Single Payer taking away America’s freedom. The Congresswoman has one two things going against her in the investigations but I think they are holding back until the end of the day for the rest of her report. They have already targeted Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Gov. Sanford, Sen. Ensign, Sen. Conrad, and Gov. Paterson. I am lobbying for them to investigate Harry Reid next, if anyone agrees with me please e-mail them and ask them to investigate him, and any others in Congress you desire.

JameS   December 10th, 2009 - 12:46 am

The “conservatives” controlled both the Whitehouse and Congress for six years under Bush. What aspects of the conservative agenda did we see pushed through during that time? Smaller government? Less intrusive government? Fiscal responsibility? States rights? Any others?

The answer is NONE! That is because conservatives use rhetoric to gain power, and then ignore their promises, because power is all they wanted. At least Obama said he is going to reorganize the health care industry, and that is what he is doing! Whether that is going to help or hurt this country remains to be seen. But at least he is not just another wind bag, like the conservatives. He said we will be getting out of Iraq, and we are getting out. He said that Afghanistan was where the real problem was in the first place, and that is where he is focusing our military efforts. Talk is cheap. I just want to see politicians do what they say they will do.

Dave, Tn   December 10th, 2009 - 12:48 am

The way these CriminalCrats are going they could run Trig Palin and win. At least he’d be smarter and more mature than Obama.

Larse   December 10th, 2009 - 1:12 am

Be VERY aware of Huckabee’s faultless and magical religious thinking and that of Hitler’s…

Even though Huckbee has killed far less humans – so far, his magical Genocidal thinking is ‘just the same’…

TulsaMark   December 10th, 2009 - 1:53 am

The Democrats have controlled Congress since the 2006 elections.
From 2000-2006, RINO Republicans were in charge, not conservatives.
Conservatives liked George Bush on foreign policy and social policy, but not
on fiscal policy. That was the missing piece with President Bush, a good and
honorable man.
Barack Obama is a statist, who along with Reid and Pelosi, was to exponentially
increase the size and power of the federal government. This is a power move
toward a socialized society, where men and women are not free, but are controlled
by the all-powerful state. Obama is naive and doesn’t understand that peace is
attained through strength. Obama is naive regarding understanding the principles
of capitalism and free markets, and has turned us into the greatest debtor nation
in human history.

I though Malkin shoved Huckabigot out of any conservative tent

and   December 10th, 2009 - 3:26 am

I agree that Huckabee is not the man for President in 2012. Maybe he should run for Senator or Governor, or campaign for others. We need a leader that cuts through all the Bullsh*t and stands on the side of the people, and not power for themselves.

Blew His Load   December 10th, 2009 - 7:32 am

You know who else have convictions? Prisoners…like the type you let out early, that just killed 4 police.

Peace Sister   December 10th, 2009 - 7:33 am

I don’t know what I think of Huckabee yet, but he is right on in this clip. We have convictions. We want someone to stand up for them.

Robert   December 10th, 2009 - 7:43 am

Huck is right on the money!! However he is not the man for the conservative movement…he is tainted. I do believe he can help whomever the right candidate is with his support! We (conservatives) need to POUND our message home on our way to victory in 2010 and 2012! You can feel the momentum growing as I speak. History is soon to be made!

dontflagmebro   December 10th, 2009 - 8:59 am

Hey Huckster. It’s already a big tent you fool. Pathetic RNC party members useless as usual.

anne can   December 10th, 2009 - 9:39 am

A big tent is a stripey thing full of clowns and freaks. Leave the circus to the dems.

Palin anyday over Huckabee   December 10th, 2009 - 10:15 am

A big tent, complete with pens for RINOS & DONKEYS while the Elephants run around in confusion. I’ll take Palin (Reagan) anyday over Huckabee.

Sean R.   December 10th, 2009 - 10:36 am

To the moron whatwhatwhat, can I ask you a question you twit, do you actually think that the so-called
liberal movement is going swell? If so, then you are more stupid than I can imagine, whatwhatwhat, the
liberal movement is NON-EXISTENT, in other words, ther is NO liberal movement in this country, the conservative
movement is growing more and more as time goes on, while the liberal movement continues to die out and
be extinct like a dinosaur.

As far as the Huxter is concerned, he can hold all the tent rally he wants, because he’s no longer relevent
to run for the presidency, remember back in 2000, Huxterbee gave clemonsy to Maurice Clemmons, (the loser
who killed those four police officers in Washington state a few weeks ago), and the Huxter did this for
political purposes, and I still don’t know how can some of the conservative posters here take this man
seriously as a candidate?

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder!!!

Borders, Language & Culture!!!

H2K   December 10th, 2009 - 10:50 am

I’m going to agree with JamesS above….with a twist. Republicans got elected and moved to the center….and even some like McCain and Graham moved to the left. Compare that to the democrats recently who ran in the center, then moved hard-left. Take over of banking, autos – their eye on healthcare, energy. These are facists controlling our government.

Would you rather have the facists or some weak-knee’d Republicans? At least republicans eroded our liberty at a much slower rate.

Also, if Huck is interested in the presidency, he should be elected Governor or Senator, run and govern as a conservative, then we can consider him for president. He’s a young man and has time to do this.

But lastly, Huck should recognize that the conservative movement IS a big tent. Life, liberty, freedom. Protection from our enemies. 1st amendment rights. Individualism. These are tenets for anyone – any race, religion, age.

Conservatives view the potential of the individual. Conservatives don’t give a sh.!t about what group you belong to.

NEOFREEDOM   December 10th, 2009 - 11:18 am

DICK CHENEY FOR PRESIDENT 2012!

H2K, Huckabee WAS a Governor   December 10th, 2009 - 11:22 am

Uhm, Earth to H2K, Huckabee WAS a Governor, the Governor of Arkansas.

Ha Ha   December 10th, 2009 - 11:41 am

We will see what happens when right wingers apply the purity test to their candidates.

You know when someone is a right wing whack job if

you think the right to life ends at birth.

you think that corporations have more compassion than humans.

You really believe that cutting taxes increases government revenues.
You believe in “Liberty and Justice for All” (except minorities, gay people and people whose religion is not like yours)

You are rotating so fast that you think Fox News is standing still and the rest of the world is spinning.

You think Sarah Palin is as smart as Einstein and believe that Boss Limbaugh and Crying Man Beck don’t tell you all that $hit for ratings and money.

Thatsall4now

kolbee123   December 10th, 2009 - 12:47 pm

Huckabee, I know of 4 people in the state of Washington that won’t vote for you. Their funerals were two days ago.

Rexter   December 10th, 2009 - 1:10 pm

I love how clueless this guy is. It has destroyed the Republican Party (welcome to 15 years ago). Can’t destroy the Conservative movement. Neocons trying to hijack it for their Zionist agenda has largely destroyed the conservative movement, however, but that is because conservatives allowed all these “new arrivals” in – especially those with dual citizenship and foreign loyalties.

H2K   December 10th, 2009 - 2:11 pm

H2K, Huckabee WAS a Governor
Yes, you are correct. I’m saying that his track record was not that good as governor, and before we would consider him as Presidential material, he needs another shot at it – or as senator.

Mad Hatter   December 10th, 2009 - 2:53 pm

Excuse me, Isn’t this the Mike Huckabee that commuted the sentence of the nut that just killed 4 Lakewood, Washington cops and was wanted for raping at least one child? Who cares what Mike Huckabee thinks. Social conservative? Does that mean social conservatives believe in releasing convicted psychopaths into society? I’ll continue to be liberal then and be proud of it. I don’t believe the death penalty but I do believe in “locked up for the rest of their worthless lives.” I believe in mercy, but not for psychotic murderers, and rapists.

Mike Huckabee said Maurice Clemmons was “too young” to be imprisoned for life for a string of horrible crimes. Mike Huckabee demonstrated very poor judgment and should NEVER be trusted with public office. Maurice Clemmons was not the only psycho he turned loose either.

I ain't your Huckleberry   December 10th, 2009 - 2:59 pm

All you need to do to flush out false conservatives like Huckabee is to look at their political record of obeying the restraints of the constitution. On a constitutional level, Huckabee’s record as governor is atrocious. And yet he sits on his Fox show with his stupid guitar, jaw-boning about conservative values and consitutional limitations on government. Politicians like Huckabee are more dangerous than the progressives. They are janus-faced progressives regurgitating conservative doctrine. And while in power, they always end up trading their mamas for political comprimises that further degrade our sovereignty and liberty. We don’t need more Huckabees. We need more Ron Pauls.
