"We can predict with 85 percent accuracy how you’re going to vote based on your credit card data without bothering to see what party you’re in."

Talk about a guy who needs to go to jail!
“Yeah first we steal your money then we use the stolen data to determine how many votes we need to also steal!”

YEEEEHAAAWWWWW!!!!!

Travis   November 5th, 2008 - 5:59 pm

I guess my guns and ammo purchases automatically put an (R) next to my name. Next time, I’ll pay with cash.

Edword   November 5th, 2008 - 6:03 pm

And the same people decried terrorist wiretaps as “privacy invasion”.

If only I could I’d kick their collective teeth down there lying, hypocritical throats…

El Capitan   November 5th, 2008 - 6:11 pm

Where are all the cries about invasion of privacy? Where are all the cries of loss of personal rights?

Oh yeah I forgot, a Democrat got elected president now. None of that matters anymore, right?

Sundowner   November 5th, 2008 - 6:20 pm

Sounds an awful lot like profiling. But I guess it’s ok when a democrat does it. lol Freaking retards.

Use cash only.   November 5th, 2008 - 6:26 pm

They just cant leave us alone can they.

Ooops   November 5th, 2008 - 6:26 pm

And the democrats are OK with this?

Det19   November 5th, 2008 - 6:47 pm

Oh, I wonder where he has been, did they finally untie him from the basement?????????? He such a tool!

Jake   November 5th, 2008 - 6:50 pm

Nobody better say anything bad about him, now that the dems. are in power he might trach you through your computer

Mary   November 5th, 2008 - 7:03 pm

I just feel sorry for that woman who was interviewed and said “I’m voting for Obama because he’s going to take care of my mortgage and gas bill” ……and the hundreds of thousands that probably feel the same way…They have all been duped. What in the world are they going to do? There is no way, in any realistic means that Obama can do half of what he promised all these poor stupid people..What are they going to do now?

Azul Del Fuego   November 5th, 2008 - 7:47 pm

I’m confused. Didn’t we learn that Obama took away the verification checks out of the credit card donations? That allowed all of the $199 (ie, under $200) donations to occur from the same person – each with a different name. That would also allow overseas contributions to not be tracked. Plus the use of PayPal also insulates the donor. Given all of that fradulent data associated with democrat donations, how could they gain any useful info?
Poor John McCain. He worked with the liberals on the McCain/Feingold legislation thinking that the liberals would go along with those campaign financing guidelines….only to be back stabbed by the democrat machine that had no intention of ever adhereing to those rules. I voted for him, but he wsan’t very street-smart.

mitch   November 5th, 2008 - 7:49 pm

Nice misrepresentation! Dean was noting that the Democrats are just now catching up to the Republicans’ ability to gather such data and reach such conclusions!

Do you commenters/readers feel comfortable with EITHER party doing that, let alone the GOP having pioneered it?

Sundowner   November 5th, 2008 - 8:17 pm

mitch,

Please tell me you’re not that dumb enough to buy into that crap you just said. lol That in itself shows exactly why the democratic party is what it is today. Baaa! Baaa!

Lemme guess, Dean was tracking terrorists credit card info and just happened to notice a trend…and …. Nice attempt at spin, you’ll need alot more practice to play in the big leagues though. GOP having pioneered it….lol

fande3rls   November 5th, 2008 - 8:47 pm

isn’t this a felony?

William   November 5th, 2008 - 8:57 pm

It is only a felony when the common guy does it.

dcainecalhoun   November 5th, 2008 - 9:16 pm

…oh crap.

grik   November 5th, 2008 - 9:26 pm

It figures the GOP would start something like that. Oh well in this electronic age nothing is really private anyway.

They should just give us all little microchips anyway like I have for my dog. Its really cool you just put it under the skin. Then you wouldn’t even need to carry your wallet or ID around. I think Putin even has one on his dog that is cabable of being tracked by satellite. Just think no lost kids.

Sundowner   November 5th, 2008 - 9:48 pm

grik,

I see, so now it’s ok with you on eavesdropping and electronic surveillance. I mean nothing is really private anyway right…things are fine in the world now that BO is president-elect. *shakes head*

I caught you and Mark and a few other liberal board posters on a short video clip news story, you the dark haired guy?

claspur   November 6th, 2008 - 3:23 am

Yeah, sounds like it. Especially when you consider how many damned PRIVACY PREFERENCES WE CONTINUALLY SUBMIT, MONTH AFTER MONTH, TO OUR BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, CREDIT CARD COMPANIES, MORTGAGE LENDERS, PHARMACIES, DOCTOR OFFICES, PHONE COMPANIES… ad nauseum!!!

We TELL them NOT TO SHARE, we OPT OUT, and then we hear crap like this?????

We should PROTEST and also CANCEL OUR ACCOUNTS with any known VIOLATOR OF OUR PRIVACY PREFERENCES.
