These are great solutions, if the reason for congress for doing this odious legislation was health care. The trouble is, it is not the reason. The health care is simply a way for Obama and his socialist democrats to consolidate political power via control of the economy. If you control the money–they reason–you control the people. People’s dependency on the government will expand it’s relevance and control over their lives. Welcome to 1984.
America is great due to freedom, the ability to create without vast government intervention. This is not what the dems and other leftists want. They want to keep their phony baloney jobs, provide patronage to friends and family and leave anyone else out to dry.
Obama is loathe to speak of American exceptional-ism, due to it’s grating on the nerves of the lesser nations of the world. Deny it, but almost every significant technological, medical and creative advance has come from America and it’s free markets. Autos, aircraft, personal computers, even rap for crying out loud has been realized this way. It is astounding that the dems and other leftists just don’t get this.

I think all the ideas presented in this clip are fantastic, but they’ll never be adopted. The “Health Care Reform” bull is about government control, not making care affordable. If they were looking for affordable health care solutions, they would have started by examining what could be causing high prices in the current economy and started by changing regulations and the like. They would not be pushing out a 2000 page monstrosity whose “benefits” only kick in after 2013 and do nothing but destroy small businesses with tax hikes.
We are not dealing with reasonable people. We’re dealing with revolutionaries that want to change the country as radically as they possibly can. To assume otherwise is to ignore all the evidence coming out of Washington and Obamas own words.
