Once again, our visionary and illustrious officials will displace history, and lie to us all about reality. What a fraud.
Why are we not surprised? The CBO is still saying the deficit only went up 1.4 trillion, even the the total debt numbers went up 1.9 trillion.
This sounds about right. It is so easy to lie when you have years of practice in Congress. It is easy to get bribes from certain people when you have been around enough and know where to get them from. It is easy to pull the wool over someone’s eyes when you have been there for so long and they have tried to get rid of you for so long and have given up or come close.

Obama defines “savings” based on deficit reduction. When my family’s annual health care costs increase from $4600/year to $14,000+/year (my best guess), that is not savings!
For that kind of money, please throw in a cruise to Bermuda for annual medical appointments! This will certainly boost the economy of Bermuda which is where many doctors talk of relocating. Also, Dubai.
Why doesn’t some entrepreneur anchor a medical ship off the coast at various locations in international waters and run a ferry service? There is money to be made in this! (Portland/Seattle, first, please!) Spin off a few sideline businesses such as fishing charters and spa services for spouses, too.
RE the above comment – you are not the only one who has thought about this. When things get too expensive, the market has a way of working itself out. I think that is exactly what is going to happen. Some other country is going to make a mint off of this mistake. It will be just another way for money to exit the country. We can’t seem to do anything to bring money into our country. It’s so sad. I think we are capable of so much more.

lol, this sounds about right. Bounce it back and forth to the CBO, which must make calculations based on ‘assumptions’ in the bill, regardless of whether it is likely for the assumptions to come true.
As has been said so many times, if it is SO easy to squeeze the waste and corruption out of Medicare, then why haven’t they done it without passing a health care ‘reform’ bill?
