It would be laughable, this now somewhat “awakening MSM” If it were not for the gravity of the present POTUS. Time and again Obama and his minions have lied, distorted and subverted the governqance of America, in the most bizzare and corrupt manner possible. Surely the 2010 mid term elections will see a real ground swell of Americans of every stripe, rise up at show our Congress and other elected “officials” that we are fed up with the cronyism, lies, out of control spending,government incompetence, and we are not going to take it any more. The media only gets upset when THEY are the ones being shut out of the debate viewing. They feel entitled to have access at all times to both the president and congress. Of course, I feel that they should be there in this case so we can all know what the heck is being decided FOR us, but it’s a shame the media was so beholden to the demonrats during the last election. This is what we all get because of that! Shame on them!

Politicians by nature simply cannot be trusted to keep campaign promises. Remember – Read my lips, no new taxes – but the new taxes came. Only one example. The arrogance of power attained by these political animals never ceases to amaze, yet we keep on sending them back to Washington DC year after year.
Obama has decided we don’t need to know about him, so he simply refuses to release important information such as his health records, his college transcripts, his scholarly works, and others. Clearly there is something to hide, and eventually it will come out, unfortunately most likely not in time for it to affect his presidency.
I am an independent, and right now I think both parties ( or maybe I should say the one party – Republicrats, or Demopulicans) should be tossed out like week-old fish.
Where can we find honest candidates, who will place the interests of the citizens of this country first?
Maybe it is time for a third party as a serious alternative.
Maybe it is the Libertarians, American Conserative Party, the Reform Party, Progressive Labor Party, the Green Party, or even the Tea Party, but do not be surprised when it happens. The Republican should not count on an Obama backlash, because they too are part of what is wrong with our present governing model.
