AP: The House on Tuesday voted to level off the abrupt spikes in volume felt by television viewers during commercial breaks. The bill β€” approved by a voice vote β€” is aimed at stopping TV ads from playing noticeably louder than programs. "It's very frustrating," said Rep. Rick Boucher, D-Va. "It's an annoying experience, and something really should be done about it."

Please pray that Congress finds busy stuff like this for the next three years to keep them from further screwing us and this country.

Impeach Obama Campaign Truck Caravans
http://www.impeachobamacampaign.com/
First truck rolling will be in the belly of the beast, Washington, DC, then nationwide.
A truck can go anywhere… any time… that’s what makes it a better mousetrap.

Let’s face it: the Mainstream Media and the Obama Administration excel at stifling free speech. They reject any material that doesn’t fit with their views.

Impeach Obama large billboards mounted on rented trucks cannot be refused by ABC or NBC or CBS or CNN or by your local television station, local newspapers.

Please help us take this message of our firm resolve to uproot this Obamanation (which is threatening to destroy everything that has made our country great), across America.

How will people who sleep through pmsnbc know when it’s time to get up and go take a piss?

While the Constitutional checks and balances is being dismantled by the Executive Branch and Regulatory Agencies through sheer “chutzpah” and inserted provisions buried in thousand page bills, Congress “fiddles”!

They have much to answer for.

Wait … Annoyingly loud TV ads are bad, but MSNBC is OK?

Remember, these are the same liberals whose base insisted just 30-40 years ago if you were offended by the acid rock music you should just turn it off.

What?   December 16th, 2009 - 7:49 am

All the ills in the world must have been solved, now our idiot… uh, politicians can concentrate on trivial matters, to protect us and save us from ourselves. Thank you mighty OZ!

Normally I would be upset that our elected are wasting our time and money by taking on stupid things as too loud TV adds. Just like the baseball steroid issue. Who Cares!! Don’t they, our elected, have better things to work on. But when you think about it, they can stay on these topics, instead of health care, and climate control.
Take on more of these important issues. Please!

The mute button was the greatest invention since TV….Mine is just about worn out (mainly due to dear leader being on TV more than any politician in history). I agree keep the congressional morons chasing things like this so they can’t do any real damage! But how much will this cost us? Nothing they seem to do is neutral when it comes to their constituents…

…picky, picky, picky…

But hey, while you’re being picky Rep. Boucher…

My neighbors have Zoysia grass. Each Spring, when their grass comes out of winter dormancy, it starts spreading over into my fine Kentucky Tall Fescue. Can you pass a bill that would make it illegal for my neighbor’s grass to spread over into my yard?

Good for them!   December 16th, 2009 - 11:00 am

This is long overdue. Anyone who watches TV late at night knows what it is like to watch actors whispering on the screen to be followed immediatly by: CAN’T SLEEP AT NIGHT? TRY OUR NEW, MAGIC PILL!!!!

No one is restricting anyone’s right to free speech. Just tone it down, already…

easye2984   December 16th, 2009 - 3:14 pm

This is awesome! What is the point of a network adjusting the volume of the channel you are watching anyway? I know people think this is pointless, but steroids in baseball and BCS football are two issues that by far dwarf the pointlessness of this bill.

Thank you congress, for now I can rest easy tonight, knowing that I won’t have to pick my remote up and press the button to lower the sound…. How could we ever survive without this group…

Now, can you please force the makers of microwaves to allow us to put metal in them..
