House Democrats Plan Ban on Earmarks for For-Profits

CNN: House Democrats said Wednesday that they will ban earmarks directed to for-profit companies. The move, announced by the Appropriations Committee and its Defense subcommittee, would apply to government spending bills Congress is considering for next year. But the committee said in a written statement that the new rules are also "intended to become a long-term proposition."

They should be carful what they wish for, there’s alot of those for Profit Companies with in the Democratic party that do alot of campaigning within those special interest groups for their own party and this maybe the bullet that shoots’em in the ass when it’s all said and done, I find it hard to believe there that stupid to want this to become law, and I also find it hard to believe that many of those 501-C3’s are gonna take this sitting down ??
