Hero or Villain: Stalin Will Return to Moscow Streets on Victory Day

Russia Today: A war of words over the name of Joseph Stalin, who died 57 years ago, is being fought in Moscow, the city where he is buried. The country he led to victory in World War II is still divided over Stalin's place in history. Even the Russian government cannot decide which side to take – Stalin the great hero, or Stalin the evil villain. Ahead of the May 9 Victory Day celebrations, this longstanding discussion is literally taking to the streets of Moscow.

Read Gulag Archipelago – it is sickening our government supported that regime. People, even Russians, who were prisoners in both Germany and the USSR at the time said they preferred Germany!

Putin is coming back and wants to be the new Stalin. Obama looks like he wants to be the American Stalin.

The Obama executive order allowing Interpol to operate on US soil against American citizens without constitutional protections is troubling. The executive order for the creation of the COG – Counsel of Governors is even more troubling.

The COG allows for international soldiers to operate on US soil under the COG comprised of just a couple of state governors for constitutional cover, but the bulk is really made up of the Department of Defense, the CIA, and the DHS. It allows them to assemble an army with soldiers from other countries here.

Why is all this for? Google it up if you don’t believe. Make sure your web cam light does not come on.

Stalin, Hero or Villain?

I guess it depended, and will depend, on which end of the totalitarian gun barrel you were on.

NoNewsHere   March 11th, 2010 - 3:34 pm

I didn’t know the SEIU was active in Russia.

Hero or Villain? He is a short list of the greatest mass murderers in the history of mankind. When you have ordered the deaths of tens of millions of people it should be a pretty open and shut case. Unbelievable…

Joe promoted Cannibalism for Communism. While he ate real food, his people ate each other. A communist war kills your political opponents first. Joe is OBAMA is azzzPlate.

Doesn’t surprise me at all. People in this country voted for a man ten times worse than Stalin. Obama will cause more deaths that Stalin by the end of his term. People will celebrate Obama for years. There are a lot of people who hat America and love how Obama is Changing this country which is more that most can see. He hasn’t passed many bills yet but he is slowly destroying this country.

Stalin, Hitler, Mao tse Tung, Ho chi Minh or Pol Pot are the same. They murdered millions of people. So why we have to praise them?

leroitroisieme   March 11th, 2010 - 4:58 pm

Leftist love Stalin. It is simple and all the facts release by the Russian archives prove it. He was a mass-murderer. People like Putin will eventually repeat what Stalin did. Give an open door to Putin. He will start invading other countries, like Georgia a couple of years back. Georgia was a testing ground to find out how far Russian could push. Of course, the West just sat back and watched. Putin’s next venture, eventually, will be the Ukraine. Tensions are always high. Russia still have not taken responsibility for Stalin’s genocidal actions against the Ukraine.

Russian has not taken responsibility for any of the Cold war terror in any Eastern European country.

Celebrate Stalin…give me a break. This shows you what is going on in Russia in a nutshell.

To me, a key issue that is not looked at is how was all this historical nefarious activity financed and by whom? Like how could Germany go from seeing their currency go to zero in 1924 and then 15 years later have war machinery in place to take over half of europe?
Like China a few weeks ago raised its fractional reserve rate to 14.5% meaning for every $14.5 of assets their banks can lend $100 and draw interest off of it. It does not take much of a decline in demographic demand for goods and services to put banks in big trouble. Every 10 years or so in our history we see the banks get clocked like in 80 with the south american debt default, ~91 the s&l crisis, 98 the asian contagion and internet bubble, 2008 the housing bubble, et. al. All brought about by debt issued by fiat money. That, to me, is the real problem and most things argued about in the media is secondary.
The free market has not been in existence for 80 years or more as politicians have been financing activities with money created out of thin air leading to cycles of boom and bust as the current banking system can only prosper with expansion of sales of goods and services and any contraction sends them imploding.

Now obaMAO will have to make a special trip to Russia to worship his hero.

CauserieLive   March 17th, 2010 - 4:01 pm

Stalin was a pig! He killed 20 – 40 million people; more than Hitler. His KGB spied on Russians, Russians spied on Russians, torture, false arrests, criminalized Christianity. One evil dude. He waged his terror for 29 years and got away with it. Stalin created a quagmire of poverty for all of Eastern Europe. How people can think he was a great leader is really sick.

Dictators will love Stalin, and free thinkers will see him for the mass murderer he was.
