In defense of “der Furher’s” propaganda, er “press secretary”, he has the hardest job on earth, defending the indefensable, i.e. Obama policies…Obama is the engineer of this train wreck, Gibbs is just the fat kid in the back, shouting out the window.
The only reason Helen Thomas is concerned is because Obama isn’t “selling” his health care plan. Not that his plan is not only unconstitutional but way too expensive and over the borderline socialist. She’s prompting Obama what to say to “sell” it, people! Listen to this again.

They can’t sell an idea that is so bad for the country. They can’t sell a product that has been misrepresented and yet these flaws have been reported on and America knows about it. I get my information from many sources including Drudge and http://www.AmericanParchment.com.
My husband retired from the military and we have TRICARE which is a government run health care. I love it. I have been in the hospital 3 times since June for A Fib and having my heart shocked and a kidney cyst. My husband has been to the emergency room 3 times in the last month for seizures. Each time we paid a co pay of $25.00. We have not had to put out a lot of our own money yet. We have had excellent care and I don’t understand why the rest of the country can’t have this kind of option. I think god we have this socialized medical benefit. Never of us will be able to get medicare until we hit 65. We also had living will done a couple of years ago. It cost us $100.00 for both of us. Everyone should have a living will. Remember when the republicans in congress interfered with the Schiavo case? That was enough for me and my husband. We didn’t want any dang republican telling us what and when to have our tubes pulled.
Check out Helen giving un-glib Gibbs the finger at about 21 seconds into the clip. Gibbs thinks he can get off easy by calling on her, she’s showing some skeptical spunk. Bless you Helen, for saying what the rest of the kool-aid drinking media won’t say.
Dear Wendy Tower, what a heart touching story. Unfortunately the Dems don’t plan on giving us TRICARE. Hope you get your tubes pulled soon. I had a kidney transplant and had to go on Medicare even though I had insurance. It was an effin nightmare. Try dealing with a government bureaucrat who doesn’t give a rat’s patotootie about anyone. They can’t be fired so they don’t care. My forms sat on some woman’s desk until she retired six months later and her supevisor dug them out of work she should have done. I never did get medicare to pay for everything they should have. Thank god for insurance companies. If they don’t pay you can complain to the government. If the government don’t pay, who are going to complain to????

I have loved Helen Thomas forever, and I’m a conservative. Nowadays, she seems to be the only White House reporter who will ask the Obama Administration any hard questions, and take it to task for trying to control the news. Keep up the good work, Journalist Thomas.

Sounds like to me that helen is very upset that Obama is losing this battle…kinda like she’s begging them to respond to the healthcare questions so they can quell the protesters.
Obama is a thunderous bore but Gibbs is practically indescribable. How can a person so inarticulate be assigned the job as press secretary for the President of the United States? Helen Thomas is correct and Gibbs fumbling, bumbling response is proof positive of that precise fact. Americans despise the single payer, government centric plan which Obama is so in love with.
I think the idea is to purposefully put a virtual retard in as press secretary for three reasons:
1. To exasperate the public with his inability to speak clearly and his constant bumbling. Just like when you let your kid answer sales calls or field calls from bill collectors. Same thing here.
2. If all else fails, they can always blame the messenger.
3. Gibb’s is a fool, there to provide comedy relief and amusement to his masters. Much like watching a monkey do tricks is amusing.
Hmmmm…what she said sounds “fishy”. Perhaps she should be reported to the White House domestic police at flag@whitehouse.gov Helen Thomas is the only reporter I’ve seen ask a tough question. The rest seem ready to wet themselves when they are called on. I suggest sending all of the “fishy” disinformation provided by the left-wing Dems to flag@whitehouse.gov !
