I hope every tanning salon owner posts a large sign explaining why they must charge these fees along with a copy of the bill and the numbers of those members of the House of Representatives who voted for the Health Care Bill whether they are from their state or not. But California salon owners especially should make sure their customers have Nancy Pelosi’s number so they can call and thank her for the increased fees!

This is just the beginning. Once they establish that “something” you do affects the cost of healthcare for everyone, they will be able to tax, regulate, or restrict that “something”.

Tanning is a luxury. If you can afford a tanning section, your not scrimping, anyhow. But will the most notorious customer, boehner, complain about the increase tax and stop going? Not if its for a good cause.

Winners and losers exist with all government regulation and taxes. the winners are usually party faithful (either party) and the loser is always the taxpayer.

Can’t wait till you have to put on your orange jumpsuit and fall out for the government mandated morning workout.

I got an idea! Let’s make them all find new jobs outside of government to give them some perspective!

Tanning is a luxury. If you can afford a tanning section, your not scrimping, anyhow.

Actually, the majority of tanning is done by teenagers and kids in their early twenties. Like smoking, it is not a necessity but it is generally done by people that can’t really afford it but do it anyhow, much like teenage and early twenties drinking in college.

At best and just informally, you can say that an early-stage melanoma is mostly external while a later-stage case has more internal effects, such as metastasis. Metastasis from melanoma is how Maureen Reagan, the late-president’s daughter, died. There were an estimated 8650 deaths from melanoma in 2009.
