Well Neil, probably because most Indian immigrants don’t mob attack a recently seperated woman, cutting off her hand and kicking her in the head till she dies.
A very tragic event. What struck me was that there was absolutely no reference to the victim’s ethnic or religious background. Political correctness is even more enshrined in the UK than in the USA. I can’t imagine such a glaring ommission in an American news broadcast.

Regardless of the ethnic background of this poor woman, it is true that the UK has allowed itself to be taken over by an explosive Muslim immigration. They even have Sharia courts in the UK, taking precedent over their own law in certain situations. The rest of Europe is destined to follow.

Look up “Sikh” and do some research before simply linking what the Daily Fail reports. (p.s. it also helps to live in London for a while.) Muslim or Hindu, but check on the history of how Muslim’s have treated the Sikh’s — there’s a reason all Sikh men are armed.

I do not know what religion she held, nor do I know that of her husband. The murder has the feel of Muslim butchery like many “honor killings” but I will not jump the gun and say that is what this was. Not yet. That being said… What happened to the BBC? They used to broadcast the truth, warts and all, which is why they USED to be so respected… even in “enemy” countries. Nowhere does it say she or the killers were Muslim. Everybody appears to be Indian, so they may not have been Muslim. You should know what ASSUME means.

Given the woman’s name, you should have known that she was NOT Muslim. Anyone who took the time to google her married name should have found that it is associated with Sikhs, NOT Muslims. She was Sikh, he is Sikh. The weapon used was one closely associated with Sikhism

There is a huge problem in Indian culture about the treatment of women, which crosses all religious divisions. It is NOT solely associated with the Muslim population of India. It is sad, and it is deeply stupid, and huge numbers of Indian women die every year from this type of violence. The most common cause of this type of death is burning alive with kerosene(Am.)/parrafin(Br). And yes, as “anne can” pointed out, very often the mother in law is involved.
So much hate/heat, so little light. However, it is always easier to emote than think.
