I hope she is being sincere. It wouldn’t surprise me much if she calculated a short stay in prison for a million dollar book deal and other opportunistic revenues. I’m sure she has seen, like the rest of us, how lenient the courts have been on other such women. And given the fact that she turned herself in will certainly evoke sympathy and even a measure of praise. Sorry to be so suspicious.

Wow, everybody, you need to read Terry’s poem. Just insert “Muslims” for “hens.” “Israelis” for “geese” and “Europeans” for ducks and you’ll get a picture of what is going on over there right now. What strikes me about this story is the woman is charged with “lewd and lascivious” it should be RAPE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, CHILD MOLESTATION, REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER, LOCK HER AWAY, THROW THE BOOK AT HER.
