America…I am beginning to think that Lindsay Graham is a “turncoat” who has not yet turned!

I am truly offended that he said in committee that “barring a meltdown she would be confirmed”!

Under whose authority does he say that?

If that is the case, save the time and effort and call off these phony, baloney hearings that are being played, obviously, to the public just for fun!

Lindsay Graham has been in office too long and he needs to go! He is a Republican “fence sitter” with his mentor…Johnnie McCain!

America…we don’t need any more “fence sitters” we need men/women of action, of conviction, of morals and values and who are not afraid to take a stand!

Lindsay Graham needs to go…yesterday and all others like him in all parties!

TruthTeller   July 14th, 2009 - 7:50 pm

She can’t WAIT to get on the SCOTUS, where she can yell, slather, abuse and bully anyone she wants, any time she wants, with NO fear of censure or reprisal.

This is the worst problem with a terrible nominee like Sotomayer- if confirmed, she, along with her racism, radical views and horrible temperament, will be a justice FOR LIFE!!!

Hickok   July 14th, 2009 - 8:25 pm

He should have asked her, instead:
“Judge Chiquita Banana, why do you have such disdain for shampoo, hair brushes and hygeine in general. And Judge Banana, how is it your voice more resembles that of Shacquille O’Neill, than that of a women? And Senorita Banana, are you really Roseanne Barr’s Evil Twin Sister? Please advise.”

Well done, Senator Graham. You did well on this go-round, but in fact, it is you that is tempramental when it comes to a consistent conservative message and agenda. Rush didn’t call you Lindsey “Grahamnesty” for nothing.

Observantminority   July 14th, 2009 - 10:12 pm

All of the RIGHT WING LUNATICS have had a temperament problem since November 2008. It’s fun watching the meltdown.

Sonya   July 14th, 2009 - 10:21 pm

Why is it that whenever a tough question is asked that liberals choose to perceive it as an unfair attack? These are criticisms of those who have worked for her in the past so why shouldn’t they be introduced in order to see what she has to say? The woman is a judge who presides over cases in which people are required to defend themselves of all sorts of accusations and yet liberals think that it’s unfair to ask her a few tough questions. How ironic is that?

luckydog   July 14th, 2009 - 11:13 pm

Lindsay Graham is a wussy wishy washy apologist and a RHINO.

wally   July 14th, 2009 - 11:17 pm

OH COME ON NOW…What will be fun to watch is 2010 when congress gets a major overhaul…

TheRealistYouThinkYouAre   July 15th, 2009 - 12:09 am

Why isn’t this called, “Supreme Court critics have a race problem”? The day of reckoning has come when minorities are being *gasp* represented… oh no! The Right’s attempted use of clumsy identity politics language to mask thier racism is so so so sad. You lost fair and square; even John McCain said so when he conceded. Get over it.

Why is it that whenever a tough question is asked that conservatives choose to perceive it as an unfair attack? Sarah Palin parades herself around like a beauty queen but when reporters ask her questions of a non-beauty queen difficulty, all of a sudden the media is “mean spirited” and “partisan” and playing “nasty politics.” Palin thinks she’s some kind of major national political player, but when her opponents subject her to criticism, she melts and resigns as a governor of one of the least populated and insignificant states in the Union. She’s unfit to govern anything.

dan   July 15th, 2009 - 12:46 am

Oh come on guys, .. you know as well as I do that Sotomayor has sympathy for
all minorities, in which a judge has no business on the highest court in the
land with those type of bias emotions. “It is not fair to the rest of us !”

jb   July 15th, 2009 - 2:58 am

I don’t mean to be mean, but she really isn’t very bright. She can’t even answer a simple question about why she stood out as having a bad temper on the bench; la-di-da-2nd Circuit-la-di-da-we’re different than other courts-la-di-da…Then Graham has to repeat himself that she is the one who stands out above the others…and still not much of an answer.

I’m not sure I’d want someone with that limited intellect on the highest bench in the country. Compare her to the last 2 nominees, Samuel Alito and John Roberts. It’s like top of his class (Alito), and MENSA member (Roberts), and affirmative action advancement over academic achievement(Sotomayor)…which one doesn’t belong? Obviously, Sotomayor.

Chaya   July 15th, 2009 - 7:20 am

She seemed uncomfortable at times throughout his questioning, even avoiding a direct answer to some of his questions. He was very good.

ROGER   July 15th, 2009 - 8:47 am

This a is Ombama trying to take over the court. He and his thugs from Chicago are taking over. Who would ever thought that the charges against the Black pPainters woul be dismisses? They control the media , Nowhere except on the internet bid I see the protests in Chicago. I read where he wanys to conyrol the internet. Wake up.

He still go in. Unfortunately!   July 15th, 2009 - 9:02 am

And that buffoon, Thomas, didn’t have “temperament problem”?

Erik   July 15th, 2009 - 9:06 am

Every confirmation hearing, Lindsey Graham is the person I really look forward to hearing
from. More than that, he’s the ONLY Senator that is truly deserving of respect.
I’d like to see the other 99 tossed out along with all the house, but Graham rocks.
I can’t wait for his second round questions, and I look forward to Sotomayer’s
answers after she reviews military law.

Boy in BOYCOTT   July 16th, 2009 - 2:16 am

Miss Lindsey says….oh no you din’it

What a tired old queen giving anyone advise. Slink back in your closet miss thang.

Boy in BOYCOTT   July 16th, 2009 - 2:38 am

At least Meghan McCain loves her Auntie Lindsey, and her Auntie Charlie, and her Auntie Mitch.
