1) Is it government mandated to have to have the official government information printed on this in order to sell seed packets in the U.S.? If so, how much did this just add to the cost of a packet of seeds?

2) Why would the U.S. government intentionally put out for use known debated information for it's accuracy onto a consumer product?

Folks, might I suggest that you grab a copy of Mark Levin's new book, AMERITOPIA.? It is an excellent read on the philosophies/descriptions of Utopias through the ages. Any GIS worker can tell you that the 2010 census info was poorly collected and can not be used for accurate forecasting of demographics and population growth.
By adding this FICTION to a geographical map that is used for forecasting, they are once again manipulating information which will actually make it impossible to accurately forecast anything!
