It’s interesting to me how the mainstream media has continued to focus on the Sanford story, but seem to be steering away from the new Edwards revelations, that he indeed did father a love child. I’m sure they’ll say it’s because he’s no longer a public figure. But he was a presidential candidate, and if they’d done their job when the rumors had first surfaced he wouldn’t have been one for long. The double standard is remarkable, especially since he may be indicted for improper use of campaign funds, to try and silence his lover.
