Snowe is a fool as are any other Republicans who insist that the “system is hopelessly broken”. If that were indeed the case, the newspapers would be filled with stories of those who died from lack of care. Instead, the newspapers are filled with heartbreaking stories of those elderly who cannot afford their medications which to me indicates a flaw in the current medicare/medicaid system.

Folks, this is simply a ponzi scheme just like social security where everyone will pay the same cost regardless of home much they will utilize the system. The government will use the influx of new monies to prop the current medicare/medicaid system up, but when the population ages and fewer people are paying into the system the same issues that are facing SS will face healthcare.

Health insurance is not a right. As a compassionate society we already provide for those in immediate need of medical attention, but at some point a person must be responsible for taking care of their own body. Government intervention will not change that basic fact.

Approval ratings of Congress are at an all time low. If you separate Republicans and Democrats, the Republicans are REALLY low (almost 10% lower than Democrats). When idiots like Hannity and Limbaugh mention the low approval ratings of Congress they somehow fail to mention this fact. Snowe is probably one of the more popular Republicans right now and will easily be reelected if she chooses to run.

Why is this woman on the panel when she doesn’t even represent the majority of America? America has rejected any form of government health care! Write her office, write it and write it. This woman needs to go!

Oh we knew this would happen, the question is, as soon as she can actually read the whole bill will she real vote for it. She pushed it through the committee but that does not mean she would vote for it. This is just another step. Plus there is no way to get rid of a bill faster than to accept a bill through committee and then shut it down, then it is dead.

There are still people calling her office, there are also new reports coming out. The final edition of this bill is still coming out and if there is time, which I don’t know there will be, but if there is time, the CBO will be going back over the final edition and that is when we will find out if she will vote for the bill.

Funny how everyone was against Baucus when he first wrote it the summary, even Snowe was but know they say they are all for it except for the fact that the CBO didn’t do an accurate accounting of the cost of the bill because it was still not written, it was solely a summary.
Oh and don’t be fooled, Snowe never said she would vote for the bill she simply said she would pass it through committee but she still isn’t sure about it. So flood her phones.
