Interesting how the names given to these pieces of legislation rarely match up to whats contained within. Might as well call it “a cute puppy”. No one could be against a cute puppy. The problem is that this bill is not about reform but control. Even if it could deliver on the promises being made, It will not be able to do so without negatively affecting most Americans present standards of living. Any new taxes placed on the providers of goods and services that we all usewill surely get passed on to us. Especially Ice Cream.

America…listed below is a “letter to the editor” that I wrote to the “Detroit Free Press” on abortion and how I felt about it! Make note of the date, America, it was 1993…sixteen years ago and we are still fighting the same battle!

But make note of my comments about managed care…said 16 years ago and now coming true today in 2009 in this “government run” healthcare!

America…this bill needs to be deafeated for the good of the American taxpayer and the health of very American!

Make note of the yes votes…and throw the slugs out no matter what party they are in…because they are the enemy within!

LETTER TO THE EDITOR October 6, 1993

In response to the Sept 30, 1993 article, “WSU attaches cost to ban on abortion” and the recent editorial printed in your paper, “Abortion…facts on costs underscore the error of funding.”

The very title of the editorial reflects your objective and that is that…we the taxpayers of this state have made an error. I am here to tell you that we “the people” did not err, and for you to measure the value of one human life in terms of money is an abomination.

Next, we’ll be evaluating how many tax dollars are spent on the institutionalized mentally ill, handicapped and elderly citizens of this country. Let’s compare the costs of funding these institutions versus eliminating them altogether. We should setup clinics to dispose of these individuals so that society as a whole wouldn’t be burdened financially and so that the rest of us might live more comfortably…right?

Is this Nazi Germany? This is the mentality of the Nazis. They would have done the same thing had they not been stopped. I do not want my tax money to be used to end the life of any “innocent” human being. This is against every fiber of integrity that I hold in my conscious as a human being.

I was appalled on Monday, October 4, 1993, when viewing the Oprah Winfrey show where I viewed children from the age of 11 – 16 speaking out on how they wanted and were trying to get pregnant because they wanted babies. A young 11-yr old girl was pregnant and was glad! Where is our educational system in making these girls aware of the fact that having children is a real responsibility…physically…emotionally and financially?

It is not societies responsibility to decide who should or should not live, but is is societies responsibility to educate and inform all individuals (male and female…old and young) as to the consequences and preventative measures needed to avert the unnecessary murder of innocent babies.

I am for the rights of women to have power over their own body and to be able to make their own choices, but the choice is made when they decide to get into that bed…not when a child is conceived form that action. Once the choice is made to share your bed with someone…then there are no further choices to be made. Then it becomes the obligation of society to protect the rights of that unborn child.

The facts and figures stated confirm to me what I have already believed…that there are women who use abortion as birth control and that there are still women/girls who are ignorant of the education needed to make a wise choice before they share their bed!

Why is it that Congress and Obama want to pass a bill that the United States does not want. According to links on http://www.americanparchment.com, the Senate passed the 60 vote to debate the Health Care bill, which is one step closer to passing this monsterous health care bill. When the United States doesn’t want it, why would Congress go against our wishes.

So what happened to Joe Lieberman, if he is do against it why would he push it one step closer.

Mike Crapo is from my state(Idaho) and I am proud of his position. He has not voted for any of the bailouts, Obamas healthcare or any other crony spending bills. We hope he will take more of an outspoken position to help save our country and our freedom.
