Gotta agree with the first post – when SNL starts in on you, it’s bad. I also agree that they’re hitting him from the left, but it’s nice to see the humor-blackout on Obama lifted. This was pretty damn funny for SNL.

It still seemed softball to me.

1) He is pushing the country to socialism, and to marginalize that as being trite or “tri-corner hat Glenn Beck supporters” isn’t funny, it’s diversion.

2) He rammed the stimulus, cap and trade through in record time. Had Americans been quieter we would be living with the coming end of private insurance for health care and facing the public option. It’s also a question as to what his Czars will do. We know for a fact that many of them are marxist sympathizers, and that Cass Sunstein his regulatory Czar, believes animals are equal to humans.

On the other hand, perhaps this is a turning of the tide to a more critical press concerning Obama…. only time will tell.

I think this skit was damage control more than anything else.
