Too bad Mr. GM CEO but our corporation decided against buying any further Chrysler or GM car because of taking bailout money while Ford just keeps on rolling along. So any future sales will be going to either Ford or any of the other companies that didn’t require a need to be part of the nanny state. My only regret is that liberals wouldn’t let you bankrupt like any other business would have to go through especially with such a shoddy management.

My wife and I were victims of rape by the Chief Executive. A part of our retirement savings had been invested in General Motors Corporate Bonds due to mature in 2013. Had General Motors filed for bankruptcy under current law, we would have been among the first in line for the assets of General Motors.
Instead, this president took our assets without compensation, in much the same way that Fidel and Hugo have done. Our assets have been given to the UAW thugs that supported the election of this president. This is clearly a case of rape, as Mr. Obama did not ask for or have our permission to sieze our assets. Thus he is a rapist.
The UAW now owns and operates General Motors. I encourage all Americans to reject the President and the Union thugs who now hold our property. Never buy a automobile manufactured by the UAW! I encourage everyone to accept the sixty day free trial only if you can be certain that you will be able to return the used and deprciated Government Motors product witout expense to yourself.

Boycot Obama Motors! Don’t feed the union scu**

Sundowner, Stargazer, JP… could not agree more!

As an “owner” of GM, as soon as I start getting dividend checks, I might re-consider… same with Chrysler, which is too bad since I currently own 2 Chryslers and enjoy them both…

Ford, here I come!

Whatwhatwhat   September 11th, 2009 - 12:01 pm

GM is REHIRING many of their workers due to the need to replenish their production stock after the overwhelmingly successful “Cash for Clunkers” program of the Obama Administration.

The economists are now agreeing that the Obama (and Bush)stimulus IS, in fact, working to turn the economy around.

Time will take these facts beyond the ability of the reich-wing to credibly deny and lie.

The racist prayers for the destruction of the Republic because the President is Black are being soundly rejected.

The racists will consume themselves with their own hatred.

How about my money back for the last 2 Lemons I got from this inion piece cra* company.
Yeh, I went back gave another chance, I was stupid.

Whitacre, New GM Chairman:

“I Don’t Know Anything About Cars”

That comment says it all.

dontflagmebro   September 11th, 2009 - 12:34 pm

This is a stupid idea I think. Looks like only the Camaro and a couple others are selling. The rest are sitting on lots. The democrats want to endanger our economy by reckeless spending for pork projects then they should not be suprised the comsumers have no confidence. Gee you mean Right wingers buy things and work? gee… I thought only left wingers where americans?

Are you kidding   September 11th, 2009 - 1:02 pm

I will NEVER buy a govertment vehicle. period.

Sundowner   September 11th, 2009 - 2:11 pm

wutwutwut are you totally insane or just totally incompetent? Hiring people back is a huge part of the problem you twit. Last I had heard when bene’s and salary were rounded off the average auto worker was making around 76 bucks an hour and the auto industry is wondering why they’re having money problems? Take that a step farther and say we let our brethren in the energy field go completely union and their union decides in the middle of January or the middle of August they need more money. Think they’d get it? Unions have played their part in the history of the country, now like an old dinosaur they need to be tossed out. Why do I even bother arguing any point with you though, if you don’t see it on HuffPo it doesn’t exist in your little world. lol

Gandhi's Fist   September 11th, 2009 - 2:16 pm

That’ll be the day, you catch me in a “government motors” hunk of junk. You can just imagine the infiltration of political correctness into the building of these wheels. Better GM went down in flames than this.

The only domestic outfit I’d even consider is FORD, who had the good sense to not opt into this odious plan.

This is what the reich-wing supports. It says it all.

Sundowner   September 11th, 2009 - 9:22 pm

lol WutWutWut if you need somebody to wipe your ass maybe you’d be better off in France or maybe even England. Or hey, I heard there’s a Czar opening available atm, if you hurry you might just be able to prove yourself the biggest absolute moron to fill the job…save the empty suit having to search when he’s straining himself so hard taking vacation days every other week on the taxpayer’s dole.

Misinformation alert: Cash for clunkers primarily benefited Toyota and Honda, not GM.

As for WWW: I stand by the post. If a business is in that much trouble, then it ought to go down in flames, making way for those who do the job, build the product and innovate the marketplace. Capitalism 101.

As it turns out, I happen to own domestic–so my money is where my mouth is. Don’t know what you drive WWW, but a Yugo does not count as domestic. Though I’m sure you scoot about in a solar powered tricycle with a back up drawn from energy developed by your own self-righteousness.

Tampering with capitalism ruins it–the marketplace must determine the winners and losers.

Hitler said the VW Bug prototype was “The kind of Car I want”. Fast Forward to 2009 and the Government Motors Czar says this is “the direction we want to go”. Here is your future Peopls Car America the GM Spark. About same size as Hitlers Bug too. As Alanis says “isn’t it ironc” how history loops. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aajz9FJwEYw

Whatwhatwhat   September 12th, 2009 - 3:46 pm

Gandhi you aren’t saying much. Primarily benefitted? They all made hundreds of millions and Honda Toyota vehicles are built in plants right here in the United States with American workers. It’s not the 1970s anymore. Catch up.

GM FAILED AMERICANS - NOW LEAVE US ALONE   September 16th, 2009 - 11:27 am

GM IS UNIONIZED AND THEY ARE JUST DECEIVING AMERICANS. DO NOT BUY GM.
