GO AWAY YOU NUT!!!!

Larse   November 4th, 2009 - 10:00 pm

Newt, just go drown yourself… The Conservatives hate you, the Republicans hate you, even your own little sister hates you. The only thing you can do now is join the Democratic party since we let everyone in. But we might have to evoke the Lieberman rule and make an exception in your case too…

GoodMom   November 4th, 2009 - 10:03 pm

Really Newt? Just now figured that out, did ya? Genius.
I have to wonder what your idea of a loyal republican is. She was loyal enough to get your backing a few days ago, now when the you-know-what hits the fan she was “in no way” one.

America…this is just what happens if, we don’t get involved at the local level!

Another poster…Cold Warrior…says it all the time…they need Conservative Republicans willing to volunteer to be on their precinct committees!

There were none, or very few, when this woman was voted on! There were too many moderates that voted for her to be the candidate!

Hoffman went before the committee but he was a conservative trying to win the votes of moderates/liberals in the precinct and they voted to use her as their candidate! When they passed him up, he went to the Conservative party! Had he been the Republican candidate…he would have won!

Big mistake…in many arenas.

1. Not enough conservatives involved at the local level
2. Putting forth such a liberal candidate to push your Republican moderate/liberal agendas far from the conservative agendas!

Please, America, when you see the posts from Cold Warrior (who is involved on his local level)…consider running and getting involved at the local level yourself and let’s save ourselves from this chaos happening again!

—————-

THE REVOLUTION OF THE SILENT MAJORITY HAS BEGUN – WE WILL BE SILENT NO MORE!

1. GETTING INFORMED
2. GETTING INVOLVED
3. GETTING OUT THE VOTE

DON’T TREAD ON US…WE PAY YOUR BILLS IN WASHINGTON AND IN YOUR HOMES WHERE YOU WILL ALL BE GOING STARTING THIS WEEK AND IN 2010 AND BEYOND…GUARANTEED!

IMPEACHMENT OR THE ‘ORIGINAL’ KENYAN BIRTH CERTIFICATE…IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME!

You could have led a new revolution, Newt. Instead, you gave up your principles in your best Nancy Pelosi power grab, and “who or” your name for a closed door, back room picked, socialist liar calling herself a republican.
Your support very well may have made the difference, as close as it was.
Actualy, it did make a difference…how does it feel to be the modern incarnation of Benedict Arnold?
Your the historian, I think the analogy holds true.
You will never be trustd again, sir.
Was it worth it?

This is the sort of thing that happens when you sell your soul to AIPAC.

Shiori   November 4th, 2009 - 10:43 pm

Hey this is just like that time you said, “I never expected Obama to be so radically leftist”. ‘Member that Newt? Wow man, you are really on the ball. Personally, I don’t believe you’re that slow – I think you just don’t give a sh!t anymore. Oh – and tell your little buddy, Michael Steele that we won’t forget his defense of ACORN either. OH! And then there’s Olympia Buttocks – er – I mean, Snowe. Tell her I said, S’up, dummy.

FastFacts   November 4th, 2009 - 10:43 pm

That is right Gingrich, the whole thing was a mistake and when you tried to say you were tricked by the candidate and the Republican Leadership by them not telling you who she was, BS, you are just trying to weasel your way out of a bad decision so the mistake is on you.

Whatwhatwhat   November 4th, 2009 - 10:44 pm

Well if that’s true Gingrich then what does it say about your party’s ability to make decisions on who runs as a party candidate? You’re clearly incompetent to govern.

john   November 4th, 2009 - 10:47 pm

Unfortunately in politics sometimes…just sometimes you have to support A to get B accomplished…

Republicans generally get this concept…but not this time.

You’re wasting hot air discussing the issue…because you are not privy to the information Newt might be…
Newt’s character is worth more than these shananigans…

Pick your battles people.

Newt   November 4th, 2009 - 11:00 pm

I’m sorry, I got distracted listening to my own quirky voice long enough to suppport Dede.

kmichaels   November 4th, 2009 - 11:05 pm

Her and Newt should just totally do it! Am I right, huh?

wukong   November 4th, 2009 - 11:42 pm

I’ve gotten over my initial anger with Newt and I believe that he was misled. No one can bat 100% and we should not be eating our own.

boomhauer   November 5th, 2009 - 12:11 am

what exactly is a “loyal republican”? someone who grows government faster than a democrat? starts wars and increases debt? or perhaps someone who calls themself a “conservative” but whose actions are more liberal than than a…. eh… liberal?

[...] Newt Gingrich eats a little crow on his support for Scuzzy. Spin, baby, spin! [...]

muggins   November 5th, 2009 - 12:39 am

Say Newt, please just go away. You have been sniffing around hoping to drum up support for a presidential run. With this last monumental blunder, everyone should now be on to you. May I suggest you join John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Chuck Hagel and Colin Powel and start the Pantywaist party.

Drano   November 5th, 2009 - 12:44 am

Lost one.

Won two.

66% success rate.

Liberals say it never happened. More like: “please, God, tell me it didn’t happen”. LOL

Bill C   November 5th, 2009 - 12:56 am

IU am sure amny others did the same as I: When I heard that Newt was going to be on Hannity, I fired off an email to Hannity early this AM. I cited most of the criticisms listed here as well as the need for Hannity to evoke a statement from Newt that he was in error and embarased and what Mewt would do to correct the Leftist lean (Moderate LOL) if the GOP seeks to garner power? The 23rd proved Newt and Steele wrong. Sorry they must go as well as the back room politicians (Leftists) infiltrating the GOP.

Hannity disavowed Newt citing that he, Hannity is a Conservative not a Rep.
Newt did not cite ant corrective action that he would take to restructure the GOOP. I think there is a need for every State to have a Conservative Party. When I was in NY, I too was a Conservative. I have found no such counterpart here in Florida. If a National Conservative Party should arise, perhaps guided by Sarah Palin, we could retake the cuntry and the GOOP wouls ned to seek our endorsement.

So how about it Hannity. A NATIONAL CONSERVATIVE PARTY! Join with the Libertarians and it is case closed on the Dims, Commies, Libs, ACORN nuts and Il Progressos! No More Nazi Poletzi, no more Scuzzys, no more Specters, who was also endorsed by the GOOP courtesy of Dumbo over a Conservative. 2010 WILL BE A LOSS unless the pols get their act together.

Wes Seward   November 5th, 2009 - 1:00 am

Newt, you are right. Bad mistake. But we conservatives don’t hate you. You mad a mistake. Fortunately this is only one seat. Thank you for being honest and admitting your mistake. That is something that proves your not a lib. Now prove your not a lib even further, let’s see some follow through. We may have lost this battle for the constitution, but we will not loose the war. Admit defeat only when we are all dead. Give me liberty, or give me death.

JohnnyAmerican   November 5th, 2009 - 1:00 am

Scozzafava should be tried for treason against the USA, We are at war and most times in the past during war people were taken out and s , well you know the rest. we are fighting for our country and we are mad as heck and we are not going to take it any more!

RNC and Independents need to unite, but before accepting a person who wishes to run for public office, do a background check before they can receive funding and make darn sure they are really who they say they are. this looks like a DEM plant all the way around.

WAKE UP AMERICA!

Joe Ryder   November 5th, 2009 - 1:15 am

Newt wouldn’t know loyalty if it bit him in the ass. This guy is way out of touch.

bic   November 5th, 2009 - 2:03 am

OK Newt, we’ll take you back — but you have to sit in the back of this bus for a while. Driving privileges suspended.

You may count the Dem roadkill for a while until you get the hang of it again — No health care, No climate change, no new taxes…

Puck 30   November 5th, 2009 - 2:17 am

Figures, let me run on my buddy Hannity’s show and spin this. Sorry Newt, you had a chance to give it a second thought and not only did say no to De De. You went after folks that were getting behind Hoffman. Also remember folks at the RNC spent $800,000 plus to help De De make Hoffman go away.

Right here are some main reasons I left The Republican Party and became an independent. All I want is a fiscal Conservative with common sense. Not a Conservative that hangs with Pelosi, Hillary & Sharpton. But don’t worry Newt, you’re buddy Hannity will help you. Me? if the Republicans want my vote in 2012, NO NEWT! NO BUSH!

VictorVictim   November 5th, 2009 - 3:10 am

Scozzafava Is Newt’s Waterloo… He Just Admitted That He’s Not A Leader, He said That He Followed What Eleven Others Decided, That’s Not Leadership. I Used To Admire And Respect Newt’s Opinion, Now Not So Much.

tom   November 5th, 2009 - 6:51 am

….gee newt….ya’ think?

Michelle   November 5th, 2009 - 7:15 am

We love ya Newt ~ but be very careful here…..Reagan’s 11th commandment “never speak ill of a Republican” no longer applies and We the people won’t stand for the fraternity mentallity anymore – We the people are smarter than that and We the people will vote out ANY politician – either side – that that does not listen to us.
LOVE your books ~ get back on track and lead with honor!

GringoBob   November 5th, 2009 - 7:41 am

doubletalk don’t get it newtboy – my kind of guy would just say “I screwed up and made a big mistake” – you newtboy, not the GOP or that pig they nominated – get it ?

Bill   November 5th, 2009 - 8:00 am

I find it difficult to believe that Newt wasn’t aware of everything this woman stood for. Her stated positions on most issues indicate that she has no moral compass and will slavishly follow the leftist agenda. She supports abortion, same sex marriage, has strong ties to organized labor and community organizing groups such as Working Families Party and ACORN (a totally criminal organization that has multiple indictments of voter fraud and would facilitate income tax evasion, illegal immigration, child prostitution, and other crimes).
To take republican campaign funds from one party and then drop out and endorse the opposition is a disgusting betrayal and further illustrates her total lack of morals and principles (as if any further proof was needed).
National Review’s Jim Geraghty wrote “Look, Dede Scozzafava is the most amoral, underhanded, unprincipled and craven creature to crawl out of New York state politics since… well, Eliot Spitzer 18 months ago”
http://campaignspot.nationalreview.com/post/?q=MGI5OWI4ODU4ZjhiMTIxN2I4MWFmMzkxZWNjOTZjNWU=
So with a creature this craven and obviously morally bankrupt, how could any so called “leader” of the Republican Party have anything to do with her?
Newt and all of the other RINOs must be purged from the Republican Party if it is to survive. This “big tent” idea is a cancer that allows Trojan horse candidates such as this woman to destroy the party from within.
Leaders that believe in the Constitution and the conservative values that this country was built on must be found or the Republican Party is finished.

Arie   November 5th, 2009 - 8:04 am

Johnny Rotten   November 5th, 2009 - 8:56 am

Gingrich is a 2 faced, bookhawking opportunist. We don’t need this snake shaping the Republican Party. If he does shape the future there will be no future for the GOP.

NoNewt   November 5th, 2009 - 9:03 am

Poor Newt. The conservative bus is moving. Either get on, get under it, or get out of the way. You are becoming irrelevant.

Desiree   November 5th, 2009 - 9:18 am

You say this now????? What about doing a little homework before opening your mouth and suppporting a left wing nutjob in republican clothing? Monday
morning quarterbacking. Sorry, can’t excuse you on this one.

CommonSense   November 5th, 2009 - 9:51 am

All of a sudden after sitting on that Global Warming couch with God Ole’ Pelosi – he sure seems eager to fight her agenda.
He’s been PART of some of her agenda!
Wake up NEWT! You have become part of the problem. The “Holier Than Thou” Republican Leadership.

Diamond Girl   November 5th, 2009 - 10:26 am

I heard this last night, plus I heard him yesterday afternoon on Hannity’s radio show…

What infuriated me with Newtie’s blathering excuses he never once said HE WAS WRONG, nor apologize….it was ‘WE’ numerous times.

I saw through Newt years back, even when he was still Speaker of the House…he did not back real conservatives that were running if they didn’t bend to his will…I watched him cancel scheduled fundraisers and speeches and withhold $$$ from the RNC to them…they were destroyed one way or the other…and dems won in these areas.

He has been in DC far too long and he needs to get out of our faces and go back and teach History which he is good at, do some good to liberal colleges…instead of helping to destroy the conservatives every chance he gets.

He still dreams of being Prez….he’s delusional, he may just learn to enjoy his dreams because that is all they are.

Btw…I am sick to death of Fox having him on all the time, especially Hannity, always making nice with him and excuses for him. I watched the interview Hannity had with Malkin before Newt came on…which was great and she said it like it is, as she always does…and of course Hannity jumped in and defended Newt…as always.

Quit forcing this wizard of smart down our throats …all of you on Fox.

We’re changing ALL OF IT, from the local level up
Judges that will not judge
Keeping predators in prison
RINOs OUT
Supporting traditional family
etc…etc…etc…
This train is already roll’n, and now, WE THE PEOPLE are engaged in the fight, and will fight if we have to. We will not back down. Put my name on “the list”, it doesn’t matter.
2010/2012…(D)(R) You’re Done!

Rexter's Rectum   November 5th, 2009 - 11:59 am

Besides being a traitor, that is one ooooogly woman. She’s uglier than I am.

I’m surprised the Democrats have not made ugly women a protected class (protected from discrimination).

Desiree   November 5th, 2009 - 12:13 pm

scuzzyfavors is unfortunate looking. Liberals usually are.

R from ID   November 5th, 2009 - 2:53 pm

This is from a huge Contract with America backer and FORMER Newt Gingrich supporter:

Newt, you have been in the Beltway too long. I really hope you figure it out and come back someday.

Larry Symons   November 5th, 2009 - 4:28 pm

Above all, Newt is a liberal an don’t forget it. Hae agrees with Obama most of the time. I wish the real Conservatives would kick him out of the party.

Dyune   November 5th, 2009 - 9:20 pm

Newt found it hard to go against 11 wrong RINO’s and went along with endorsing a fake Republican. Sarah Palin did not find it hard to speak out against it.

NOW America, who has more moral courage to make the right decision? Who time and time again have proven not being beholden to the powers that be?

Sarah Palin… she the clear choice!

GO SARAH, GO!

Dyune   November 5th, 2009 - 9:23 pm

Hannity MUST cut ties with him for his credibility’s sake. He is starting to annoy me.

Enter Glenn Beck!

Greg Zotta   November 6th, 2009 - 12:31 am

Now, Newt said he shouldn’t have backed Dede Scozzafava, because he is positioning himself to run for President as a middle of the roader. What did he do when the Republicans won in 1994? Newt was on Greta & in his last comment to her, Newt states “you strengthen yourself by attracting more people than by driving them away” implying that you must compromise your conservative principles in order to expand the party. He stated the Era of Reagan Conservatism is over. I disagree. You stand on conservative principles & let the people come to you. He supported Dede in New York. Arlen Specter has already left the Republican Party. The Republicans do not need another Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins or Colin Powell. I remember when Gary Gill was leading Dick Gephardt in the polls until Newt praised Gephardt. He did a Climate Change commercial with Pelosi, and teamed up with Sharpton on education. Is Newt a real conservative Republican?
