German Company Attaches Banner Ads to Flies at Trade Show

From the YouTube post: To promote their exhibition stand at the Frankfurt Book Fair, Eichborn the publisher with the fly prepared 200 flies with an ultra light banner. The banner was attached with natural wax. After a short time the banner dropped off by itself. And the flies were not harmed.

funny! the words at the end say: No fly was harmed. The banners were attached with wax and would come loose after a few hours.

those poor flies got a workout!

Capitalist pigs using flies to advertisement ?! An investigation needs to be done to make sure that no flies where harmed.

How long before PETA decries the indignation suffered by the flies? Those poor flies were forced to carry more weight than nature ever intended. Their quality of life has been compromised by evil capitalists who exploited the insects for their personal gain.

We are better than this. No more forced fly labor. Free the flies from bondage!

You know the flies will seek union representation, or do they already belong to SEIU??

Elmo   November 1st, 2009 - 12:38 pm

Console/vid wouldn’t load. I didn’t get to see the flies!

Bobbi   November 1st, 2009 - 12:54 pm

Dang, I wish they would tie a bunch of stupid libs and the pretend president to the flies, allow them to fly like at least 100 feet into the air, and then have someone spray the flies with insecticide and drop all those stupid libs onto the ground. Doesn’t that sound like lots of fun?? Spalllaaattt!!!

Cass Sunstein   November 1st, 2009 - 12:54 pm

Those flies need legal counsel so they can sue those filthy krauts!

We need a Fly Czar!

Considering the life span of flies, what about their health benefits, pensions, and other union perks for the IMMENSE (%-wise) amount of time during their life that they were REQUIRED to work????

What sort of message does this send to other insects, that we would abuse our power over them like that??

SHOCKING!!

Imagine having THAT job. “what do you do, again?” “well, I glue banners on flies, for trade shows.”
