Wow, It’s easy to see when a link has been posted on Drudge Report by the narrow, backwards thinking comments that pop up. Seriously, get out of the dark ages, children. Also, that the mayor of Moscow calls this movement “Satanic” just proves again that everywhere in the world we are, we’re led by the least among us.

I love Russia and Russians, but I’m only an American who studied Russia in college. I know that, despite Russia’s long and crazy history, many Russians are a bit narrow minded regarding race and culture, but I believe that they will eventually be among the first world nations which accept differences among people. Pushkin was part African, as many of us are in America. Gay stuff? I don’t know. But I know gay people and they’re not monsters. In fact, they are wonderful people. I don’t really get the anti gay thing.

I love the way everyone is throwing around the word “violent” regarding the Moscow police response. I didn’t see any real violence here- the police seemed rather restrained, no clubs, no bloody heads. Just some pushing, escorting, and the dragging of one person who wouldn’t walk. Looked pretty professional to me.

Actually, I don’t get the whole gay thing. I’ve never felt it necessary to bring up, or march, or petition, or throw in anyone’s face, my sexual preference. I just don’t get it.
