And I suppose “Washington-based” = Objective? FYI, a “Washington-based” research group will be biased towards MSM and against anything cable. It may give appearance that it’s unbiased, for it speaks against all cable news (CNN, FOX, MSNBC…), but really they are pro-Old Guard.

Uhuh! Given that ABC, NBC and CBS are all MSM, and given they only have a half hour’s time to do their thorough coverage of the news (20 minutes when you factor in commercials), I wonder what the project is talking about when it speaks of “thin reporting”? And when you also factor in their own bias (you might want to look at such stories like ABC’s Dan Rather’s story on Bush’s national guard service, as well as the recent fiasco by CBS reporting as news the fraudulent press conference by the Chamber of Commerce reported by CBS as legitimate news), let’s talk about “thin reporting” in its proper context.

MSM is a joke! And so is the “Project for Excellence in Journalism” which is nothing more than a shill for the MSM.

The Project for Excellence in Journalism, a Washington-based research group, offers a three-part breakdown of cable journalists voicing their opinions. From 11 a.m. to noon, this happened on 52 percent of the stories on Fox, 50 percent on MSNBC and 2.3 percent on CNN. Among news-oriented evening shows, journalist opinions were voiced on 70 percent of the stories on Fox’s , 9 percent on MSNBC’s and 9 percent on CNN’s

As for the most popular prime-time shows, nearly every story — 97 percent — contained opinion on Fox’s “O’Reilly Factor”; 24 percent on MSNBC’s “Hardball With Chris Matthews”; and 0.9 percent on CNN’s “Larry King Live.” King devoted nearly half his time to entertainment and lifestyle topics, twice as much as O’Reilly and more than three times as much as Matthews.

The project describes cable news reporting as pretty thin compared with the ABC, NBC and CBS evening newscasts. Only a quarter of the cable stories examined contained two or more identifiable sources, compared with 49 percent of network evening news stories and 81 percent of newspaper front-page stories.
Breitbart is slanted toward news threads to interest the far right or working class whites who tend to be less tolerant and less educated.
The same people who patronize WND and Free Republic.

So true Bill! I think Dem supporters in general have strong tendencies towards debauchery. Scratch them a little and you will find a rebel…rebelling against some aspect of decent behavior. Just look at the amalgam that makes up the Democratic party. Sexual deviants, Environmental extremists (ie. terrorists), PETA terrorists, Slothful dependents holding out hands for free money (from Obama’s private stash), Union thugs who could care less about their employing company and will stick it to them whenever possible…even if it means destroying the company and losing their employment, …etc., and the list goes on.

The Democratic party is a carnival of social mutants, debauched individuals who are human debris attempting to bring everyone down to their debauched level!

Mental midgets such as “Larse” and “Whatwhatwhat” should consider themselves lucky that being mentally deranged is not a crime; they would be serving life without parole. In the marketplace of ideas, truth will prevail. No one is forced to watch Fox news, there are plenty of alternatives. People who choose to watch Fox do so because they are able to discern truth from lies and media spin. Half of the Fox audience is Democrat and Independent, not just “Rethugs” as the above mentioned trolls would have you believe. Therein lies the reason for this administration’s attacks on Fox. This president’s approval ratings have been plummeting because the “loyal base” is beginning to hear the truth.

So this means that this administration will hold “Unconditional talks” with Iran and other rouge nations, BUT will not hold talks with a US company?

Let me get this straight…
They go and set at a table with Anti-American regimes, and talk nice to them and apologize But yet can’t set down with Real US Citizens that question them?

They go and spend hours / days / weeks preping for an olympic bid, but spend 25 minutes talking about the Afghan war?

Troops are requested, urgently, but they wait, and then fall on the excuse we need to wait for new elections there, while we already have boots on the ground needing help? (does this sound like carter or the clinton somalia again)

We give up a planned missle defensive base in europe and get nothing in return.

They turn OFF the water to California farmers creating a food shortage and 80,000 lost jobs, but claim the $800 billion stimulus saved 36,000 teachers jobs?

They are working on passing a health care bill that the majority of Americans DO NOT want and can NOT afford and really plan on passing another Ried bill into it to allow illegals, Taxpayer paid abortions among other things, not including all the false claims about all of it OR the real Cost…

The real truth why they DO NOT want to go on FoxNews is the will get hit with REAL Questions, they will get hit with Real Charges, that they will NOT be able to defend. They know their STATE RUN MEDIA will never put them in that spot, and as the lady stated, “They tell the News (STATE RUN MEDIA) what to say”

Their only option is to twist and belittle FoxNews from a far distance.

Chairman obama made a rule that no one can interview on Fox and he will not give Fox an interview for the rest of the year?

I never knew that, they actually banned anyone from doing interviews on Fox. And they actually think that is a loss for Fox? It’s a BONUS!

The is called being OWNED! by FoxNews or you been served!

Just imagine if FoxNews actually did go after this administration, as in without hands tied, there would be No competition the white house would start crying and scream I am telling my mommy!!!

FoxNews is only reporting some of the facts, and they are leaving out ALOT! of other items / facts that they let the white house get by with. If FoxNews actually reported on ALL the corruption and evil deeds by this administration it would be Game/ Set/ Match! Checkmate.

The IQ level of the white house is No comparison for the people at Fox.
