Fox News Lays Out Facts After White House Escalates War on Network

Fox News: In recent weeks, the White House has begun using its government blog to directly attack what it called "Fox lies." David Gergen, who has worked for President Bill Clinton and three Republican presidents, questioned the propriety of the White House declaring war on a news organization. "It's a very risky strategy. It's not one that I would advocate," Gergen said on CNN. "If you're going to get very personal against the media, you're going to find that the animosities are just going to deepen. And you're going to find that you sort of almost draw viewers and readers to the people you're attacking. You build them up in some ways, you give them stature."

Obama is a weakling in so many different ways.

Robert .   October 12th, 2009 - 3:23 pm

No wonder Fox News is the highest rated news channel, they are the only ones reporting the truth.

Peter N Roth   October 12th, 2009 - 3:24 pm

The wise advice used to be phrased: “Don’t start an argument with someone who buys ink by the barrel.”

L. Smith   October 12th, 2009 - 3:25 pm

Fox has nothing to worry about…they are MORE popular than the him!!!

DennisT   October 12th, 2009 - 3:25 pm

Well, when you have a bunch of nit wits running the White House, hell bent on destroying our country, what do you expect?

rider237   October 12th, 2009 - 3:25 pm

how very Hugo-ish. truth is, fox is the only place you see all sides of a story. to bad the other networks can’t claim the same. the WH can say what they want, the numbers tell the story. The people know where to find news. they find it on fox.

Milli   October 12th, 2009 - 3:27 pm

That’s just like Fox News – They always give their viewers the truth. Keep up the good work Fox and the stats will continue to rise; as obama osama bin hating America fails. 2012 can’t get here fast enough.

I will not allow anyone in my home to watch any other news; why bother when they only report half-truths, if there’s any truth reported at all.

I'm Not a President, but I Play One on TV   October 12th, 2009 - 3:28 pm

The Obama White House has CNN fact-checking SNL sketches critical of Dear Leader, and MSNBC bathing them in a rich, soothing wash of worshipful spin 24/7–and all these crybabies can complain about is a hostile press!

Tony Blair   October 12th, 2009 - 3:32 pm

Again, if Fox is so bad then explain all those lies…. Again go after the company/person but don’t rebute the facts :)

Keith   October 12th, 2009 - 3:33 pm

I’m a recent convert to Fox News, since Obama was elected. I got tired of all the softball press coverage from CNN. So this is how the new White House treats a news organization that dares to question them…

The Professor   October 12th, 2009 - 3:33 pm

Fox can’t have its cake and eat it, too. If you want to broadcast propaganda, not to mention whatever you call Glenn Beck’s show, don’t expect goodwill from the White House. I think the liberal bias of the left has been countered by some on the right with blatant and brazen lies, disrespect, and misinformation. Fox, Drudge, talk radio, Brietbart…then there’s the insane WorldNetDaily…you’re all isolating conservatism by appealing tothe far rigth wingnuts. Preach to the choir all you want; that’s no way to win elections (though it’s great for ratings.)

DB from PHX   October 12th, 2009 - 3:34 pm

It’s amazing that a news channel that reports the issues of the day without the leftist slant of the major networks is now being considered an “enemy” of the administration. This news blackout is a dangerous path to wander down and they may just be waking up the sleeping giant that is the conservative majority in the US. Keep it up and you’ll definitely lose the Whitehouse and Congress in the next major election and it really doesn’t matter who the Republicans put up against you.

JLC   October 12th, 2009 - 3:34 pm

Fox must be getting too close for comfort in a lot of areas. Not a good thing for the government to try to
silence the media. There are a lot of dark things going on in the administration and we need at least one
media outlet willing to uncover it.

pepito cojones   October 12th, 2009 - 3:34 pm

Obama is one big assed C-O-W-A-R-D!

Flava flave   October 12th, 2009 - 3:35 pm

Embarrassing how thin skinned this administration is.

All hail the lord god Dali-Bama. Stone the un-believers! Off with thier heads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worship and protect and say only good things about our Dear Leader – or else!

Zeig Heil! Zeig Heil!

jamesistheman   October 12th, 2009 - 3:36 pm

Well at least 1 media outlet is calling the adminstration out. Many of us see what they along with the rest of the Dems are trying to shove down our throat. Sweeping changes & dirty tactics to get a healthcare bill among many other agenda items theough as quickly as they can. The writing is on the wall for the mid-terms & the Dems are going to lose big. They know this which is why they are slamming their agenda full throttle.

demdicks   October 12th, 2009 - 3:36 pm

I travel in my job and you always find the TV sets in airports and hotel common areas all tuned to cnn, I have started complaining about it to management requesting changing to Fox News, most are relieved that someone finally told them to do it. Tell these people to get cnn off their airways, that you notice and take names, tell them maybe your business is not good enough for them if they won’t change the channel.

Olegario   October 12th, 2009 - 3:37 pm

Who cares? We know what they’re up to and they are only going to lie
when asked.

Curt   October 12th, 2009 - 3:38 pm

For someone who so blatantly supports the marxist agenda he sure doesn’t like it when he and his fellow marxists become exposed….could it be he realizes that the majority of us in this country don’t believe in his vision for America and he can’t stand the fact that his smoke screen has blown away! Please keep up the attacks so that the rest of the public who has remained in the dark checks in with Fox to be educated to the real agenda of hopelessness and change we dont believe in!

bess   October 12th, 2009 - 3:40 pm

how ungrateful…. for the WH not to mention ALL THE OTHER news outlets that sprew their own propaganda toward Obama.

those who seek the truth have found it in FoxNews.

Derrylane   October 12th, 2009 - 3:40 pm

Fox is number one in ratings, because they report accurate news. Obama’s polls are taking a free fall over the economy and unemployment lines and the war. Anyway since when did any of our Presidents declare war on the MSM. This seems like a we are dealing with dictatorship. This is the United States of America. Not Cuba.

Irondog   October 12th, 2009 - 3:40 pm

Keep up the good fight Fox News!

Robert   October 12th, 2009 - 3:41 pm

If fox news is truely a mouthpeice of the republican party, wasnt it a promise of obama that he would reach across party lines in an effort to end political bickering?

George Washington   October 12th, 2009 - 3:41 pm

Truth will ultimately prevail where there is pains to bring it to light.

Barry, is more of a meglomanic than Napoleon. He is a psycopathical liar. Watch out America! He has already destroyed the fabric of the United States of America. Impeach the SOB!!!

Curt   October 12th, 2009 - 3:42 pm

Hey professer…..how about an example of the “lies” you accuse Fox of perpetrating? Glenn Beck may be over the top but for the most part he has simply been asking questions and getting nothing but crickets in response to legitimate questions Millions of us have been asking!

bubbadiamonds   October 12th, 2009 - 3:42 pm

Let us imagine if the main stream media were right leaning and reflected the views of the majority of Americans instead of being liberal elitists hellbent on destroying this country. What a wonderful country we would have right now. We wouldn’t have 75% of the problems we have now.

Jack Ace   October 12th, 2009 - 3:43 pm

What the report failed to mention is that moderates and liberals only tune into Fox to laugh at the spectacle that is Fox news. With the exception of Shepard Smith, all the other shows are incredibly biased. There is nothing fair and balanced about Fox news.

wts   October 12th, 2009 - 3:43 pm

Seems to me that when a someone or group screams everyone that is against us is telling lies …. screams an even louder message about that person or group

BillyBob   October 12th, 2009 - 3:45 pm

CrackheadObummer, in 9 short months has abused the power of the Presidency more than any other President in history, even those who served for 8 years.

What’s gonna be fun is investigating his corrupt and criminal behavior after we run the stool sample off in 2012

Roger Shouse   October 12th, 2009 - 3:46 pm

Why aren’t all journalists talking about the “chilling effect” White House statements have on the exercise of a free press? Oh, yeah. Never mind.

DavidJ   October 12th, 2009 - 3:47 pm

FOX NEWS does not need liars as guests. Obama can’t win an argument under any circumstances, so he tries to eliminate honesty. What a bunch of babies we have in the White House, today.

Dora   October 12th, 2009 - 3:47 pm

Thank you FOX for being the lonely voice in the sad wilderness of those who call themselves journalists.

The Nobel prize should be awarded to all those stations and newspapers who either ommit the truth or have no problem lying openly in order to protect the guy and his Chicago cronies in the White House. Speak the truth with conviction. It will set you free and insure the survival of our democratic republic. God bless America!

Richard in Marin   October 12th, 2009 - 3:48 pm

How surprising is this!?! Not at all!!

Team Obama and their in-the-pocket limousine liberals HATE everything Fox has to say — especially when Fox utters the facts.

Shame on them, shame on the voters who voted that communist into power, and good for Fox! Keep it up, guys.

rightsaidfred   October 12th, 2009 - 3:48 pm

I give odumba the “limp wristed, spineless, communist, anti-american, most likely to be a muslim” award. Why? BECAUSE HE’S NOT GEORGE BUSH. Never thought I’d feel so strongly about this but…”GOD I MISS PRESIDENT BUSH”. I am sick to death of that big eared goofy looking moron and the sound of his voice makes me violently ill, much akin to Mary Hart’s voice and Kramer.

Hooter   October 12th, 2009 - 3:48 pm

Mr. Obama you want some CHEEEZ for that WHINE. Truth bits doesn’t it Mr Obama….

Its a shame Mr Obama most Americans and those that vote watch Fox News…

Obama is NO Harry Truman, Obama can’t stand the heat….

mojo   October 12th, 2009 - 3:49 pm

I get my news from many sources. Having worked in television news, beginning in 1969 at PBS, I covered many stories in an honest and objective way. I find that the mainstream media, as some label it, do slant to the left. There are, many times, omissions of information which I can only attribute to that slant to the left. With what some refer to as talk radio, and with FOX News, I find that there is a slant to the right. However, that slant is not in news content, as much as it is in what they cover. They also seem to spend a great deal of air time, reporting on the omissions in stories covered by the so called mainstream media. Since I have an extensive news background, I do a great deal of “fact checking” on all of my news source choices. I have also found that with some sources for fact checking, I have to “fact check” their “fact checking”. The truth is out there, but you have to be willing to work for it. It also requires that you get your information from both left and right news sources. To dismiss one or the other, leaves you with only half of the story.

Tony Corso   October 12th, 2009 - 3:49 pm

If a group of esteemed engineers in every field sat down and tried to figure out just how to bankrupt the United States of America and turn it into a third world, socialist nation, they couldn’t have done a better job than the Obama Administration is currently doing.

335blues   October 12th, 2009 - 3:49 pm

SO PREDICTABLE. OBAMA, WHO’S WHOLE LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE, CALLING SOMEONE ELSE A LIAR. AGAIN, IT’S JUST A DIVERSION FROM THE FACT THAT OBAMA HASN’T ACCOMPLISHED ONE SINGLE AS PRESIDENT. NOBODY CAN NAME A SINGLE THING THIS FRAUD HAS DONE. NOT ONE SINGLE THING.

Karen   October 12th, 2009 - 3:51 pm

Fox is the best for news and yet still, they don’t tell the whole story. It’s already been established umpteenth times, Obama is a liar.

Milan   October 12th, 2009 - 3:51 pm

I like the fact that none of the FOX anchors have tingles running up and down their legs or have their 0-faces on whenever they give a report about our illustrious leader. They tell it like it is, allow opposing sides to speak, and let the intelligent people of the US to decide. Detractors obviously have never watched even 5 minutes of any FOX programs.

goalbysummer   October 12th, 2009 - 3:52 pm

EXCELLENT! I am so tired of hearing and seeing this “p”resident on the news, it’s actually one of the reasons I watch Fox! So I don’t HAVE to see him! EVER!!!!

chicagomatt   October 12th, 2009 - 3:52 pm

it makes one wonder how this would’ve played out if there were no internet, and alternative media to call the administration out on all of its shennanigans. we would be bowing down to the Czar of Amerika, and those who disagreed would be silenced.

patriot1   October 12th, 2009 - 3:54 pm

Obama says he is being attacked by FOX. Please explain Obama why you have people in your administration that are criminals that haven’t been dealt with by law. Tell me Obama why all the promises you made in the campaign are just lies. Tell me Obama why you are sidestepping the US Constitution when it comes to illegal immigrants and your czars. Tell me Obama why you took over the banks, the US auto industry, and healthcare?

chicagomatt   October 12th, 2009 - 3:54 pm

Karen, i agree 100%…Fox News is by far the best out there. i’m not talking about the opinion people later on; O’Reilly, Hannity, etc.. the newscasts themselves are second to none.

Butch   October 12th, 2009 - 3:54 pm

The press was so kind to W. they we all a titter with everything he did and said. nough for sarcasim. T “O”s going to find out that you need a tough skin to play with the big dogs.

patriot 12   October 12th, 2009 - 3:55 pm

Say hello to Hugo Obama or is it Barrack Chavez?

real news wanted   October 12th, 2009 - 3:55 pm

Yes, some of Fox News is opinions but how much of those “opinion” shows are actually reporting hard news? We’ve learned about Acorn, SEIU, Van Jones and other CZARS, Valerie Jarrett, HR3200, Covering the Tea Parties with millions of American’s attending them and many other things through FOX that other networks are not reporting. All the other networks are doing fluff pieces and essentially lying to the American people by telling us things like “The stimulus is working”, “those who disagree with Obama are racist”, and not even covering hundreds of thousands who marched on D.C. in protest to the government spending more of our money…etc.

Keep up the good work FOX! And don’t give in to the pressure of the Obmama administration…keep going against the flow and bringing us the actual NEWS!

Pat   October 12th, 2009 - 3:56 pm

Wouldn’t watch anything else! It’s the only news that I truly trust. Can’t believe what the others report.

Fox is definitely “Fair and Balanced”

obomba da magnificent   October 12th, 2009 - 3:58 pm

Memo to the Magic Mulatto: Don’t pick a fight that you CAN NOT WIN..You only appear WEAKER than you have already been Exposed to be..

oneconservative   October 12th, 2009 - 3:58 pm

Wow, who would have thought that the United States Government would attack and try to discredit a news organization for reporting the news?

Everyone should have asked themselves what kind of change this guy was proposing before they voted! We now know how it feels to live in a communist state…

Truth offends   October 12th, 2009 - 3:58 pm

The truth offends and gets attacked when being presented. The WH is attacking those trying to speaking the truth – namely FoxNews (not everything they say is, but they report more of the corruption going on than other popular agencies). If you can silence you main opponent then you can go on doing whatever you wish.

Tanya   October 12th, 2009 - 3:59 pm

It’s a shame that our government is resorting to these issues. They don’t agree with them so they do this….Fortunately, Fox News is more popular than any other news agency on cable and therefore reaches millions of viewers from both parties. The president doesn’t have to convince his cool-aid drinkers-he needs to convince those who disagree with him. He has been such a disappointment so far and honestly if half the stuff he believes in is passed, we are in a ton of trouble as a country…..

Brian   October 12th, 2009 - 3:59 pm

What a douchebag and a pansy we have as Prez. He’s scared of Foxnews because they expose him for what he truly is and what he’s trying to do to our free nation.

Truth hurts, doesn’t it Mr. Emperor?

asleep no more   October 12th, 2009 - 3:59 pm

As enlightened as the people at the Whitehouse are, it seems to me that they should remember “what you give out comes back to you.”

shane2813   October 12th, 2009 - 4:00 pm

Poor little crybabies. How did these people get to be so thin skined? The incredible shrinking president. Obama is so lite in the loafers. Are you shure he’s not a gilding? MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRORIST all the same.

zman   October 12th, 2009 - 4:00 pm

I stopped watching the other news programs when I became so apparent that the other news programs were expressing their opinion and calling it news.

DUGinFLA   October 12th, 2009 - 4:01 pm

Fox does what the media used to do. Remember when they all despised Nixon and went after the White House with an almost blood-thirsty appetite? Oh you don’t remember that? Too young? What a surprise. Go study.

plumberswife   October 12th, 2009 - 4:01 pm

FOX NEWS ALERT….. President obama tells the viewers of Fox news to F* off, doesn’t want ‘em doesn’t need ‘em.

elizabethrc   October 12th, 2009 - 4:01 pm

Obama is driving this country straight into a revolution. The more he tries to narrow our choices and our rights, the more he tries to limit what is ALLOWED to be shown on cable, the more he damages our economy, our military, our international prestige, the greater the anger across this country grows and it IS building.
It makes me think that he may well not be an American, for surely, as all Americans know, our freedoms were hard fought and won, and this nation has zero tolerance for anyone who tries to take them away. We don’t like dictators and meglomaniacs who take more than the Constitution allows them. We shall not tolerate this dangerous little man and his minions.

Dave   October 12th, 2009 - 4:01 pm

Fox news is in the pocket of the right wing. They are not news, they are nothing more than a mouthpiece for the idiots of America. Since when is telling the truth liberal media? “Fox News, We lie, and you idiots fall for it!”

Bilbo   October 12th, 2009 - 4:02 pm

No need for concern, soon we will have only one news organization, duplication is not efficient. It will be built next to the glorious new Obammamoble car factory where only 2 types of cars will be built. 1 type will be for the people and we will call it the peoples car, this will be similiar to a golf cart. The other will build SUV’s for party officials.

Barbie   October 12th, 2009 - 4:02 pm

Bring it on! Let the White House ‘investigate’ or whatever you want to call looking into what most rational and educated Americans see as all-out biased reporting by Fox News Channel. That’s the way to bring out the truth — ‘White House Reports, You Decide!” Love it! Anytime a news venue goes ‘rogue,’ then it’s time to clear the air and call it for what it is — unfair and unjust. Maybe treasonous? Perhaps you might say the White House is into a little investigative and truthful reporting…something that FNC has found little use for in the past several years. Just look at the remarks, untruths, guests, ad nauseum…if you can’t see it or hear it, then you ARE an idiot and it doesn’t make any difference what you read or listen to anyway. And you wouldn’t be considered a decision maker — as I do not consider any on this website to be. Just yackers and complainers and whiners and naysayers. I come here to read what the non-progressives and dummies and narrow-minded and bigots have to say from day to day, and it’s frightening to say the least. At least, for the most part, you’re talking amongst yourselves. Go Obama! And, by the way, congrats for the Nobel Prize. On behalf of America, we’re very proud of this honor. The world loves us again.

Ebob   October 12th, 2009 - 4:02 pm

I remember when the left use to praise those who “would question authority”. I guess we now know how shallow those on the left really are.

TO THINK THIS MAN STILL HAS OVER 3 YEARS TO FINISH DESTROYING OUR WONDERFUL LAND:

Fox News gets nearly as many viewers as iCarly and SpongeBob SquarePants!

P.E.   October 12th, 2009 - 4:04 pm

I would watch what is going on in Latin America and expect the same here, eventually. Check out Grupo Clarín vs. Los Kirchners and the recent media bill the Argentine Senate just passed. Good-by freedom of press, hello state-run media. Folks we are going that direction.

mojo   October 12th, 2009 - 4:04 pm

Tanya. Your post reminded me of my biggest complaints with cable companies. They always place FOX News on what they call an “upper tier”. That means that people who can not afford a higher priced cable “package”, only get those news sources which are on basic cable. That would be new from CBS, NBC and ABC.

Roger H. Cook,MD   October 12th, 2009 - 4:05 pm

Why does the white house act as if they didn’t have enought support from the media when they have ABC,CBS,NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, NYT, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, LA Times working fro them and all the democrats? One little media cable compamy not in their pocket telling the truth often too balanced for me. They sound loke thin skined commies.

Barbie   October 12th, 2009 - 4:05 pm

I question lies, untruths, total authority and dishonesty. I’m a true American. And on the left, obviously!

Vince Hugh   October 12th, 2009 - 4:06 pm

The risk for the White House is that FOX News tells it like it really is and this is why they are so effective against the liberal element of the Democratic Party (Obama). The actually make the president and his spokes people look bad because they can’t answer the questions that FOX presents without looking foolish. Obama wants to control the news. It worked during the campaign when he had a very liberal news media (NBC, CNN) in his pocket which helped him get those voters who didn’t really understand the issues, especially the youth vote. But now even they are realizing he may not be good for our country.

The Irony   October 12th, 2009 - 4:08 pm

The irony that we find out about CNN’s attack on Fox, on Breitbart’s site…because nobody watches CNN. Neilsen reported that Fox News “Redeye” at 3AM gets more viewers than MSNBC does all day. LOL

PShptaw   October 12th, 2009 - 4:08 pm

The Keystone cops at it again. Instead of being interviewed by Fox,
they just attack them. That way they don’t have to explain their lies.

jean e   October 12th, 2009 - 4:10 pm

Apparently the people of the USA and going to stand by and watch the Dems enforce censorship. Do these ignorant people ever read history?
Shut down any opposition and then you have achieved communism – Hitler, Stalin, Chavez, Castro, etc. Appears the ignorant will take us all down.

Buxstf98   October 12th, 2009 - 4:10 pm

I used to watch the state-run media – NBC in the 70’s and 80’s, then ABC exclusively in the 90’s. However, since 2000, I added Fox News to my news sources – ABC and Fox most of the time. As we got into the 2004 and 2008 elections, I noticed subtle shifts in ABC’s reporting and analysis. I found that many of the ABC reporters were deliberately trying to sabotage the Bush Administration. It was bad enough that the Democratic themes were indistinguishable from those of Al-Qaeda during the height of the Iraq War. But, that “cheerleaders for Osama” rhetoric was never challenged by the state run media, like ABC, is inexcusable in my opinion. Then, over the past 2-3 years, Bill O’Reilly began showing various independent studies showing that the media was moving further and further to the left. The key study he showed this past spring, I believe, was the media bias during October 2008, just prior to the election. The study addressed only one item: How much negative reporting against each candidate was shown by all of the media including Fox News. The results were jaw-dropping. For all except Fox News (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNBC, MCNBC), 20% of their stories were negative against Obama, and 80% negative against McCain. Whereas, for Fox News, the results were 40% negative for Obama and 40% negative for McCain – very even-handed coverage. If that isn’t blatant liberal bias and total disregard for the facts surrounding the issues, I don’t know what is. That is the time I shifted to Fox News exclusively. I only watch ABC once in the evening for local news. Otherwise, I tune into Fox News exclusively to know what is really going on in the world. And, I have found their analysis well-supported by facts and documented evidence, whereas the state run media use emotional arguments with an occasional irrelevant fact thrown in to “validate” their premise the vast majority of the time. I much prefer to hear BOTH sides of the issue and spirited debate with the best argument supported by the facts winning out in the end. There are always three sides to an issue: your side, my side, and the truth. Fox News is the only news organization that does that any more.

Tell a lie long enough and pretty soon people start to believe it. We must be on our constant guard against this tactic, ignore it, and use all other means to get to the truth.

Joe Johson   October 12th, 2009 - 4:12 pm

See… he can get tough with his enemies….. to bad those enemies are Conservatives and not America’s enemies like: Aquavelvajad, Kim Jon il, Chavez, Castro, worlwide Communists, Islamo Fascists…..

Shiori   October 12th, 2009 - 4:12 pm

Is there any entity they won’t polarize? Racial tension is up, there’s more acrimony between Dems and Repubs, Straits and Gays, Religious and Secular, etc. Not to mention the power that’s been handed to America’s enemies on a silver platter, while our nation’s strength is systematically diminished.

And rather than going on Fox News in order to decry their alleged ‘lies’ and ‘journalistic abuses’, they post gossip on their little blog like a clique of snotty high school girls. Or whine and spew venom with MSM-bots who will only agree with them. We want a good fight – they’re hiding behind the shrubs calling mommy for help.

These MSM and White House wieners won’t debate! They skew information to suit their agenda! They’ve been caught promoting blatant fraud and bias! They ignore stories that don’t flatter the left! They think Katie Couric, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow are journalists! They think Dubya was a monster, but adore Roman Polanski, Mumia Abu-Jamal, and Chavez [to name only three real monsters]! And now they’re crying because America is flipping the channel, and flipping the bird?
What mass delusion and arrogance.

You are going to continue to attach anything coming out of the White House then bitch because you get shunned? What a bunch of whiners. Fox’s bias is clear, and anybody who cannot see that is incapable of thinking for him- or herself.

political jules   October 12th, 2009 - 4:14 pm

Dear White House,

Attacking Fox News can only end badly for you. Shut up and do your job.

Luv,
Your Boss

Sal Mazzella   October 12th, 2009 - 4:14 pm

Thank God for Fox News the only ones I watch to get the truth.

Jayson   October 12th, 2009 - 4:15 pm

“Dave” Are you freaking serious dude? What “truth” does CNN and MSNBC report? Thanks to Fox News, we discovered what we already knew about ACORN..the Van Jones issues. Also, when GWB was in office, CNN and MSNBC were constantly wailing on him. Where were you and all the left wing IDIOTS then? Were you complaining about bias? Of course not. You hate Fox News because they don’t just worship a president because his skin color and because CNN and MSNBC tell them to. If you are going to accuse Fox of lying…please submit facts with your accusations. Typical left wing IDIOTS though…always running their mouth and attacking but not giving specifics.

These comments…..priceless. What a bunch of chimps

Vince Hugh   October 12th, 2009 - 4:16 pm

Why doesn’t FOX News have a nightly news broadcast on their regular network FOX channel (not the FOX cable channel)? If they did, they would destroy the viewerships of NBC, CBS and ABC who focus primarily on views from the left. We need balance in our network news. Instead all we get are the NY/Hollywood liberal interpretations and selection of news stories. FOX, we need you!

Ann   October 12th, 2009 - 4:16 pm

I have to agree with someone’s comment, shame on you Fox for telling the truth.. Now why would you watch anyone else, well I guess if you want to see them bowing to Obama you might be interested, I use to watch CNN until this election, I couldn’t stand the news people acting like teenagers all gitty over Obama.

John Breland   October 12th, 2009 - 4:18 pm

Why is anyone surprised? Americans need to realize that the rules have changed. We’re dealing with an administration (and a Congress, for that matter) that does not consider itself bound by any Constitutional, moral or ethical restraint.

When tyrants seize power, there’s always a period of disbelief in which the public refuses to acknowledge what has happened. Let’s hope somebody with the power to push back politically wakes up before this gets bloody.

What a bunch of whinning school children we have running the country. Wait! I shouldn’t insult school children. Did you know that Obama once downed a Fox News satellite simply by clicking on a universal TV remote in his living room? Obama then reprogrammed the remaining satellites to broadcast reruns of Keith Olbermann’s show, thus expanding the consciousness of the average American TV viewer and raising awareness by 19%.

After they silence Fox, after they silence Rush, after they silence talk radio, after they shut down Drudge and Breitbart, they’ll make sure that WE won’t have voices on the Internet either.

Alex   October 12th, 2009 - 4:24 pm

I had never watched Fox News until the White House starting critizing them, I tuned in to see what all the fuss is about and now I am a regular viewer.

zac   October 12th, 2009 - 4:24 pm

its funny how showing both sides of an argument is now “attacking.”

Thurston   October 12th, 2009 - 4:24 pm

You don’t hear the White House complaining about CNN or MSNBC. Day after day, night after night CNN and MSNBC reporters and commentators heap nothing but praise on President Obama. At least someone, i.e. FOX News attempts to present a balanced picture. I hope FOX keeps up the good work and doesn’t back down.

Corey   October 12th, 2009 - 4:25 pm

Good piece but I had to laugh when they said “and which at other times takes the opposite view” and showed Hannity. Could have used some more appropriate b-roll there

uncledan   October 12th, 2009 - 4:25 pm

Today, I’ll watch FoxNews on TV and all my computers (whose homepages are all set to FoxNews) and soon I’ll buy Palin’s book.

Monroe   October 12th, 2009 - 4:25 pm

They (the wh) is falling on its face. What a disgrace.
I hope it reaches critical mass so that they stand alone naked shivering in their utter embarasement of total failure.
