Nothing at all wrong with the concept; he was trying, without success, to say that some ethnicities tend to marry within their own group–people like the Swedes–and therefore they do not appear to change much over time. What got him into trouble was the word “pure” which some people interpret as code for racial superiority. The rest of his babble–Americans marry anybody–was undoubtedly interpreted by some as “Americans water themselves down like mongrels”–all of which was poorly expressed. Put another way, “Americans represent a melting pot of ethnicities that continues to evolve,” would have kept him off the hot plate. It is all in the semantics my dears.

Sure. Killmeade is definitely a Jewish name. He says he is Italian/Irish and I believe him. Many Italians have ancient African ancestry although they try to deny it. Italians weren’t even considered white until the 1940s. The Europeans weren’t all that fond of the Irish either.

Who cares about that comment? Are you serious? Doesn’t the comment have some truth to it? Americans are (were) free to marry a person of the opposite sex and should. Who cares if white marries black, hispanic marries asian, persian marries black… etc? In some other countries you’d be ostracized way more than Americans are to each other and the consequences could be much worse.
